even though I was on that side of the fan base who made the original out to be more SCP horror coded they got it ON POINT with the entire liminal horror aspect,, I’m really satisfied with how it turned out

The only thing I was sad about was no Partygoers but that aspect would have prolly thrown the whole movie off, so it doesn’t really matter :0

For longer cuddles, Crawler prefers sitting down on benches or their couch

Lou knows how to cook a couple stews and soups, so Carrie gets a ton of those in bed

Lou is very serious when it comes to disease and illness, she will be giving Carrie absolute princess treatment

When Lou gets sick, Carrie has to fight her to have her take medicine

Lou is a very “do as I say, not as I do” person. She’ll give Carrie the absolute best then turn around and jump into a dumpster

Carrie prepares cold compresses and soup for Lou. Lou will take it reluctantly if Carrie asks her to sincerely

When one gets sick, neither are actually afraid of getting sick from spending too much time around the other

So now Michael is sent to work with bento box like lunches packed with goods from Goliath on the job

Off the clock, Michael usually gets fruit and fancy dishes from Goliath, who sometimes uses cult donations to buy ingredients

Goliath once impressed Michael by making banana flambé. Michael attempted to imitate because “I can do that too!1!1”

It ended with the kitchen in flames and a lot of shouting

Followed by even more fire and a handful of cult members screaming

The fire truck arrived late, and the police lowk were laughing cause they thought it was just some arsonist (to quote John Mulaney: “#### DA POLICE”)

Michael’s coworkers laughed about the incident for days and offered him their lunches mockingly

Goliath banned Michael from the kitchen after that claiming “The Devil speaks to him should he hold a pan.”

Michael is still salty about the incident.

“Goliath. Let me through.” Michael tapped his foot impatiently. “No. You know the rules and recall what happened last time, do you not?” Goliath stood with his arms out, blocking the way. “I just need a knife, I’m peeling fruit for crying out loud!” Michael stomped his foot. “You’re being dramatic!”

What could be more exciting than this? By his side in the shadows, Alcina glanced up at the monitors, then back at Wictor.

“Dearest?” Alcina asked in a quiet voice, almost imperceptible. Wictor looked up. “Is everything alright?” Butch’s mechanical form lingered towards the side, eye displayed on screen. “Sorry. I just wanted to check. You seem… I don’t know, distracted?” Alcina tilted her head.

Wictor turned slightly and took her hand, gently sliding his fingers around her wrist. “Your pulse is off. Something’s bothering you. You can be honest you know.” Alcina looked at him for a moment before sighing. “I don’t know… I just feel all restless. But it feels a little better when you’re with me.”

“I’m right next to you though?” Alcina facepalmed with her free hand. “No, that’s not what I meant… it’s alright, forget it.”

“You mean my attention, don’t you?” Wictor smiled, pushing his chair back and letting go of her wrist in favor of putting an arm around her. “You can always ask, you are one of my priorities as well.”

when he does kill, it’s really cinematic and theatric, on an altar with dramatic chanting and everything

sacrifices for the Beetle God can range from human sacrifice to fruits and foods, to loved possessions.

Goliath is one of those really charismatic cult leaders. Don’t like or trust him? You eventually will with enough time

Goliath often stalks potential recruits so he can perfectly find them at their lowest point

Nobody in the church or by the area even realizes there’s a cult, and the cult members are all convinced it’s some brotherhood

“My god, please accept this grand sacrifice…” THUNK. The dagger hits the table and insignia below, piercing flesh thoroughly. Goliath smiles, gazing up at a tall altar, candles lit and placed everywhere. As wax drips onto the forehead of a victim, the cultist simply stands, hands clasped in prayer and ecstasy.
