Rules Under Cut

My name is Rev. 35+. Autistic. I am a he/they butch lesbian. Over 25 years of writing and rp experience under my belt. I am Old and I am Tired. I am married and currently work in archives. I am actually an ordained minister with Dudeism, a Dudeist Priest if you will, so this blog runs on vibes, 🍃, and a piece of string.

My rules are pretty straight forward

Formatting is pretty basic. At most I do small text. I don't care too much on graphics. I will occasionally do aesthetic posts.

Regarding Cross Guild, I think the dynamic of Cross Guild can lead to some fascinating character dynamics and interactions. It's also important for Croc's character. However, I know how rpcs can get about interactions that highlight abusive relationships, so if that squicks you out, I'll tag anything mentioning Cross Guild accordingly.

Due to my age, I prefer to only rp and engage with other muns who are over the age of 21. Smut/NSFW will ONLY be with muns older than 25. No mun name/no age = blocked.

This is not a 'no drama' or 'good vibes only' toxic positivity waste dump. This is not a 'i dont do drama!!' rule. I believe the 'you dont owe anyone anything' mindset can lead to very toxic results. I hate misuse of 'therapy speak'. I don't think that relationships are 'transactional'. Sometimes, people need to vent. Sometimes, people need to get their feelings out so they can work through them. I believe that conflict resolution is healthy and necessary for relationships. Please do not be afraid to approach or discuss matters with me if they are deemed necessary. I will always hear you out first before I make my own conclusions.

I will tag common triggers liberally with *trigger cw* as the tag. If you would like something tagged, please let me know.

Don't be a dick. I have a busy real life including a full time job and earning my second Master's Degree. My rp blogs are for me to do a passion I have had for a long time, but they are low priority. This is not a job. I will block liberally if I feel my boundaries are being crossed. That being said, I rp to make friends and share passions. Please don't be afraid to approach me, even if we are non-mutuals. I will always respect your time.

Muse is well into his 40s and is a mature adult. I enjoy exploring all manner of relationships, be it romantic, sexual, platonic, familial, ect. However, I will not accept romantic or sexual ships aimed at him for muses younger than 30. If you're strictly here for the potential for smut, this isn't the blog for you. This is for what I am comfortable with writing, not meant to be judgemental.

I ship with Chemistry. I am open to most things (as long as they're SSC and do not violate my age rules) . If you're open to a Ship, chances are I might be as well.

Just a minor complaint/rant about fandom takes

I do enjoy a good fem!crocodile pic. Like, yeah. Badass woman step on me awooga. I do. But why does it seem that Croc gets that treatment more than other characters? And I can't help but feel it's because of the trans headcanons and theories.

Idk im probably waaaay overthinking things and my own gender fucked mind is askewing my takes, but I can't help but find it a tad transphobic. Maybe not transphobic so much as chaser material. It feels like chaser material.

"Do you mean mine, Dragon?" He tutted in response, turning to look over his shoulder towards the other. Ravenous eye indeed; they glinted in tainted gold that sought to inhale the other entirely if he got too close. The response was only a smirk as Crocodile turned to take a drag of his cigar, letting the smoke create a mask to obscure him further.

"You were never afraid to jump into the maw."

She was dressed quite exquisitely. The dress that clung to all of her curves in the right ways, and she spoke so eloquently to the other members of the Army that she looked as natural as a duck to water. Had this been any other manner of situation, Crocodile might have crushed the glass that was currently held in his open palm, but he refrained. He simply swished it around, feeling the weight of the whiskey inside of it shift in weight from one end to the other. Something to ground him, even as his eyes never left her.

It was a rather large gathering, where people from across the Grand Line and the New World could mingle. Of course, they were also pirates, so half of the crowd was drunk off their knobs or almost picking fights off in the corner. Even as an imposing presence, he could slip in past here. Like a predator patrolling the waters, he blended in, narrowly dodging a flying fist or some scoundrel laughing way too loud. It was all commotion, and it was an excellent smokescreen to allow him to settle in as though he owned the place. After all, he had been to his fair share of these sorts of events back in Arabasta.

Cross Guild had eyes everywhere, even in spaces deemed 'safe'. Baroque Works had died in name only, their skills for espionage absorbed into the beast of the new organization too easily. Even amongst this crowd, they were lurking. Waiting. Gazing. Staring. Many were within only a few feet of Crocodile at all times, just in case the ex-Warlord had need of them. He felt the brush of one of them in that moment as a piece of paper passed between them. Ah, yes. The photograph. Taken from up top on the balcony. Predatory smirk spread up across his lips as he gave a nod and handed it back to the underling. They gripped it tight and bowed at the waist, backing away to disappear into the crowd.

Crocodile took a step backwards, disappearing further into the crowd himself, though his eyes did not stray from Tess as he watched his members do as they were instructed. They darted through the crowd and Crocodile took the opportunity to down the rest of his whiskey. He set the glass on the raised tray of a passing waiter, as fluid as the sands that whispered underneath his skin. Still pacing on the outskirts as he watched the underling scurry forward to brush past Tess and place the photograph into her hand. Before she could react, the minion was gone, disappeared into the crowd.

It was as though time had stood still as Crocodile watched her. He watched her open up the picture. He watched her stare. He watched her quickly fold it up and look around, trying to find the man who had given it to her. Trying to find him. A smirk stretched over his lips as he watched her back up and hurry off more towards the balcony, away from the crowd. He moved to follow, pushing past those who surrounded him who parted for him so easily. His eyes never left her as he followed, until she was far enough away from the crowd that he could come up behind her.

When her back was turned, he made his move. Large hand moved to cup against her throat before the fingertips touched down, gripping just enough to press against her jugular. Crocodile leaned in and hissed against her ear.

"Careful. So many innocent people. What manner of beast would make a scene in such a crowd?" He growled. "Wouldn't want to endanger all of these lives now would we?"

Woolf steals his ring when he goes. Oh, he has plenty, but this is an heirloom piece. Obviously not his own, but the kind of quality the old rich keep in the family, handed down from generation to generation. Gaudy as hell, too, just the way he likes them.

('Look at how tiny those inclusions are,' she'd told him, whatever the fuck that meant about an emerald, then held up a magnifying glass to the gold band to show him the jeweler's stamp. 'South Blue make. By... Hennel. I think. Anyone can buy that--' and she'd made a careless, dismissive gesture at the glittering, gorgeous options spread out before him by a sour-faced jeweler-- 'Half the scumbags you rub elbows with have big, gaudy rings. What you want is a big gaudy ring that reminds them you're better at being wealthy.)

Months later, she hates that fucking ring with its bold, chain-motif band and round-cut stone, but she keeps it in her little box of treasures anyway, taking it out to fiddle with on nights she has trouble sleeping. This time, she talks to it, which is a definite sign she needs to find someone to bunk up with now that she's settled in at Momoiro Island.

The overhead light glints off the swampy green emerald as she turns the ring over and over in her fingers, hooking her thumb against one of the prongs. "Hope it still hurts, asshole."

His pride, of course. His ego. Not his heart.

He balanced the jewel between his thumb and forefinger, balancing it precariously there as though it were a coin. It had been in a setting for awhile, but that had since been taken away to only leave the red ruby in place. He puffed his cigar before flicking it upwards, watching it spin a few times in mid-air before landing in his palm. Another puff and exhale of smoke from his nose before he set it aside into his pocket.
