The series goes into how polygon was formed and what they have to do as gaming reporters (this episode features Griffin, but in others they are not as prominent)

The Polygon Show -  it isn’t a video but a podcast! and it’s with Simone, Allegra, Ashley, and Chelsea and it honestly means the world to me and is one of my huge comfort podcasts now, to just hear these girls talk about all the games they love (plus the email questions are good!!)

SEO Plays - Simone goes and answers everyone’s questions regarding games with the power of google and some eggs 

so most of the other polygon crew do streams all week and here are some of my favs of those streams: 

Simone and Russ play Journey Blindfolded - Simone and Russ have a blindfolded series that’s been on going and I recommend all of them!! they try navigate each other through the map of games like Breath of the Wild and GTA 

Allegra and Pat Play a Baseball Game - Pat and Allegra go through and rank their fav intros and they’re very good because both Pat and Allegra are well versed in movie and cinematography and they watch sonic sports intros (the waluigi, kingdom hearts, and monster hunter ones are my favorite)

but polygon streams about every single day with some combo of Pat/Allegra/Simone/Russ and some others and all those videos are very good and calming to watch

TAZ Amnesty just finished after an epic 2-hour finale, so I decided to edit one of my favourite ever music videos – The Wolf by SIAMES, animated by the amazing Rudo Company – to suggest Ned, Duck and Aubrey being chased around Kepler by bom-boms. I used rotoscoping so it took forever and it’s still kind of messy, but Rudo Co.’s original animation is so strong that it’s hard to ruin it :)) Pls go check out both TAZ and the original video, because they’re both stunning and a wild ride from start to finish! so obviously it’s always shitty when any of the ipre die but i wonder if there weren’t also certain combinations of people being dead that are just… 200% more awful

there’s a cycle where magnus and lup both die. and it’s like the energy has gone out of the entire group. taako always gets quieter and sharper when lup dies, but without magnus to rattle around the ship and distract everyone, his furious silence is deafening. barry doesn’t leave his room at all, and without lup or magnus to remind her there’s a world outside her journals, lucretia doesn’t either.

there’s one cycle where merle and davenport both die about halfway through and there’s just this horrible feeling of pseudo parental loss. barry takes it especially hard; he lost his father before he can remember and he just lost two more. the twins too - the others notice them getting even closer; they’re often joined at the hip, but now they’re rarely in different rooms.

or, magnus and lucretia die and the other five feel, suddenly, very old. the two of them are the “little siblings” of the crew. magnus is so big and lucretia so smart that it’s easy to forget they have twenty and twenty-two year old bodies respectively. even with the extra years they’ve been given, they’re still so young.

davenport and lucretia die and suddenly everyone’s twice as reckless. taako and merle die and the crew finds themselves humorless; it seems like there’s no one to laugh with or at. merle and barry die and the crew never realized how much of the good nature on the ship stemmed directly from them until then

when they were younger lup convinced taako that people eat raw fettuccine at the fantasy olive garden and then, a century and a half later, while out to dinner with her coworkers, she convinced kravitz of the exact same thing. and now whenever they go out on dates, they just, cronch cronch cronch together, blissfully unaware, thinking that this is a perfectly normal and socially acceptable thing to do. taako thinks people are staring because he’s famous and his boyfriend is hot. and he’s right. but also,

au where everything goes horribly wrong in story and song, the ipre crew has to escape with the light of creation, and have their final stand on a deserted world where no innocents are around to be caught in the crossfire.

then, the hunger is gone for good and they don’t have the promise of an end date for moving on to the next world.

the magic users in the group spend four years trying to find a way to travel between planar systems, and then they spend the next five years after that hopping from planar system to planar system, hoping that one of these days, they’ll find the one they called home.

imagine it’s nine years after angus lost his entire family. he’s twenty now, no longer a boy, and even though carey and killian were the best guardians he could ask for, and had raised him with all the love in the world, his heart still aches for the ipre crew.

their world has moved on and rebuilt after the run-in with the hunger.

the stories about the seven heroes from the day of story and song have taken on a near-mythical status. statues of them go up in all the big cities, turning them into minor deities in their own rights.

and then, one day, angus goes in to his job at lucas’ school, and students and staff alike are all abuzz.

he hears about sightings of a brilliant silver ship, streaking through the sky the night before.

angus feels the shock reverberate through every cell in his body, feels his heart fill with hope. he wants to learn more about it, to dust off his rusty detective skills. 

but he has a job to do, and he can’t abandon it.

he stumbles his way through the first hour of classes, until a teaching assistant shows up to take over his class, letting him know that lucas wanted him in his office.

angus goes, heart in his throat and wondering what the headmaster wants with him.

when he walks through the door, lucas looks up at him with tear-filled eyes and a brilliant smile on his face.

he holds out a stone of farspeech in angus’ direction.

confused, angus takes the stone from him.

“hello?” he asks, unsure. 

the reply comes immediately in a voice that sounds close to tears, one he’d been waiting a decade to hear again.

“what’s shakin’, pumpkin?”
