The other day I saw a video by a dentist telling his audience that he regularly has men coming to appointments at his office without knowing what they’re for because their wives make the appointments and then they just merrily do as they’re told and go without checking again with their wives the morning of they’re there for a cleaning or for a Saw trap, and it occurred to me that so many people in this world must, without even realizing it, be living effortless lives in which they rely on other people just being naturally decent people, and I am fascinated by this and wonder what it’s like

Love, Simon (March, 2018; the book, Simon vs. the Homo Sapians Agenda, did come out prior in April, 2015; 3 years between publish and adaptation)

Heated Rivalry (March, 2019 for the book; November, 2025 for the tv series; also the first book of the Game Changers series came out in October, 2018; 6.5 years between publish and adaptation)
