So, I'm teaching Special Ed this year and I have a girl with a severe disability of genetic origins. She can walk and move by herself, but can't read, write, nor speak properly. She is kind of like a one-year-old baby.

And she's always happy.

She is unable to properly hold a pencil but she loves to watch me draw and color. If I pass her the pencil and encourage her to try, in a bunch of seconds she hands it back to me and prompts me to go on, possibly with vibrant colors.

She loves music. One day, while coloring, I distractly started to sing "For the Dancing and the Dreaming", Stoick & Valka's love ballad from HTTYD 2.

And she loved it. She loved it so much she tried her damnedest to sing it with me.

It made my day.

I don’t think I’ve ever painted in black and white before! It’s quite fun, but I do miss my colours <3

SISTER LIVES! And Light Babe prepares to blast! XD As you know, I live in Italy, and Mr Coronavirus has brought us all down on our knees. We are trying to spend our forced quarantine in the best ways; yours truly has gotten back to drawing, and occasionally writes something. Hoping that this surreal scenario soon becomes a bad memory, and hoping that we all learn a valuable lesson as mankind, I send you guys a bearhug... And pretty please, stay safe, stay healthy, stay home! ;)

New vs old: which one do you prefer? ^^
