oh my God does anyone remember this series… it was like. these little novels written in the style of diaries of female royals in their teenagehood throughout history. also it was rly good bc it didn’t just focus on european royalty. i used to be OBSESSED with it when i was younger omg 🤧

like… it was just so nice to step into the shoes of all these girls from the past, to take on their problems as your own for a little bit, to flip through someone’s innermost thoughts, and to realize that young girls have all been the same throughout history, no matter where they lived and what lives they led… also they really did feel like precious artifacts bc some of them had gilded pages and neat little spines and just. yeah they were good :-)

Information about Skam Perú.

The team of Skam Peru answered fan questions live on Instagram and shared some facts about the TV show and I offered to translate them to the international fans:

The first season is going to air in April.

The first season will be about Eva, but she will be named Luciana.

Sana won't be Muslim, she will be part of another minority more important in Perú (but they didn't say which one).

Isak will be a man.

In Perú, you start university at sixteen, so the characters will be in their first year of university.

There will be more LGBT characters than in other SKAM remakes.

They will talk of the same topics and some more that are important in the Peruvian culture.

Peruvian culture will be very important because it's vastly different from the cultures of Europe and the US.

It will take place in Lima.

The team producing it are university students and they obtained all the permissions and rights to create the show.

The clips will be uploaded on YouTube and the chats and Instagram on a platform that they are creating.

The casting is still going on.

They don't have money problems to produce the show at this moment.

They will subtitle the show.
