Some basic rules and info, my name is Vinny but you can also call me any form of my username if you wish to, I go by ANY pronouns which means neos and xenos too, I'm aromantic and a minor, no DNI but I block freely, so be nice
I try to post as often as I can but sometimes I just forget or can't think of anything so...
I post mainly about q!Carre, q!Kameto and q!Dan, but a few posts about q!Fit and q!Slime may slip in here and there
My main ships are crackships, honestly, it's HappyFilms [Carre x Pol], SaintDiamond [Dan x Felps] and KamRucho [Kameto x Cucurucho]
I make a lot of "cringey" and "ooc" headcanons, take that as you will
I, myself, am currently in the process of an autism assessment and more than likely have some form of anxiety and would prefer if you use tonetags, but I can't really force you to
Spoilers Under The Cut; But tldr, I'm Making Owen & Legundo A Duo Name And Noone Can Stop Me
(Also writing it without my usual typing quirk to make it an easier read)
OKAY SO WHERE DO I BEGIN-
So, within that conversation. We see Owen & Legundo parallel eachother. They oppose eachother in many ways, but both show they actually have the other's best interests at heart. And even those oppositions seem to drive them closer together.
For Legundo; he truely believes, with all his heart, that anything can be cured. And he who was the very last person in the village to start believing vampires exist, he who would only have children's storybooks as a point of reference for vampirism... he would view it as a disease, an illness,,, something to cure. And he speaks as such.
Owen, however, doesn't want to be cured of vampirism. As 1, it is his connection to the late Mayor Louis, whom was the only one to treat him like a person during his mortal life. And 2, because becoming a vampire cured him of the very condition that caused him to be a recluse in the first place. As he describes it then, 'marbled skin'.
Legundo wants above all else to help Owen, but can't understand why Owen doesn't want to be helped. He accepts his answer, but states he will never stop trying. Owen understands that Legundo wants to help, and outwardly commends him for it... saying that, in the 225 years he's existed... Legundo is the only human he's found with a good soul.
As a matter of fact, Owen speaks one moment that he doesn't innately want to give 'it' to Legundo, most likely speaking of vampirism... and yet, goes back on it and offers it to him anyway. Citing how many people Legundo would be able to help with immortal life... However,,, Legundo's responce?
"Noone deserves to suffer losing everything they ever loved."
AND OH MY GOSH.
This conversation happens before Owen reveals any of his true backstory to the town, and LEGUNDO ISN'T EVEN THERE FOR THAT CONVERSATION. Legundo, with all sincerity, integrity, & pure will, speaks the one phrase that would hit Owen hardest. Because Owen did lose everything. Everyone. His one. The one person who cared for him, by the hands of humans... and yet, here is a human, who truely cares for him. And, despite some ignorance, wants what he believes is best for Owen.
Owen lets Legundo leave. Both human and alive.

Sooooo, have I convinced y'all they deserve a duo name now? Yes? No? Well I have an idea regardless!
Cure Duo
For both of their themes of finding & avoiding cures. Owen who wanted a cure for a mortal illness, and chose vampirism as a way out. And Legundo, who believes all illnesses can be cured, mortal or supernatural. Legundo who wants, with all his heart, to help Owen, whom he believes is sick. And Owen, who knows the doctor's ignorance, but cannot deny that the other's pure-hearted feelings towards him... bring back memories...

I just keep thinking about how this man switched up so fast from "I just want to make sure nobody dies" to "RISING LAVA!!"
(This also comes from the fact that he said he does something different every season. )
Never thought of this HC ever but when you really rewind and think about it, it MAKES SO MUCH SENSE
This is one of those headcanons that I don’t think about a lot but like. It’s looming it’s there and it is here to stay like an immovable object
honestly I just think everyone on the aculon family line is fucked up in some way mentally get Sidefall some therapy vro needs it after he DIED for the propagand 😭😭😭
ive never considered mumbo/bigb. give me the pitch, sell it to me 🎤
Shaking from head to toe like a chihuahua as I type this
OK SO FIRST OF ALL I think the dynamic would be elite and I want to see them getting flustered about each other. BigB complimenting Mumbo on somthing innocuous and he goes bright red and can't get a word out. Mumbo teaching B how to make a redstone trap and guiding his hands, not thinking about it, while B is very quietly panicking.
ON A DEEPER LEVEL: Mumbo and BigB are both very clever players who are often overlooked for one reason or another. I think they have the same combination of "genuinely sweet but secretly a mastermind" and I love to imagine an au where they recognise that in each other.
From any other player's perspective, BigB seems like a nice, friendly neighbour - but when you watch his POV, you realise so much of that is an act. He spends Secret Life doing random fake tasks (hello Backrooms) and spreading innocuous rumours. In Wild Life, he literally joins two teams at the same time, and when Cleo catches on, he talks his way out of trouble. He's friends with everyone, but always has his own, separate base. This man puts you at ease with a smile so you don't even realise he's keeping you at arm's length.
Mumbo has the same brand of "friendly but cunning", but a little to the left. He leans less toward social manipulation and more towards "Here's a perfectly-crafted trap and a pressure plate you won't see until you step on it". Unlike B, Mumbo is almost always part of a team - but he's also often one of the first to die. He gets lost in the bigger scheme of things.
Both Mumbo and BigB are characters who linger at the back of the group, and I like to imagine a moment where they notice each other there. I see you keeping everyone at arm's length. I see them leaving you behind. Let's take care of each other.
If you look at their canon interactions, this holds out. Mumbo sends Etho after BigB in Secret Life because he thinks he might help him complete his task. They swap moss and dripstone during the Hunger wildcard. Whenever they see each other, they greet each other warmly and dance around each other's traps. Mumbo laughs at all of BigB's jokes. They've never killed each other, in any season.
Also the idea of Desert Duo and Treebark simultaneuously going "Hey where's the other guy who's usually with us" and finding them together making flower crowns or something is really funny in my head
I like Bigb from a lore perspective, because he's just so different than everybody else that it makes for something really interesting to play around with. I've been playing a lot with the idea of Speakers recently, as a 3rd part to the Watcher/Listener council, which is something Martyn's touched on but not really explored (correct me if I'm wrong). I like the idea that Bigb is in fact one of these Speakers, that his motives are unknown but that he was one from the start, which is why he was able to escape Evo unharmed, and also just sort of disappears after each life series (I believe it's the only minecraft content he makes now), which is something none of the other players do.
I also like the idea the no one knows. Not even Grian, though he can sort of sense that something's up with Bigb - but no one apart from real council members even know of the Speaker's existence. What the council even is remains a mystery (and I like it that way), but Bigb being this sort of strange, removed entity, that could leave the games whenever he wanted, but either doesn't care or is good at acting or has some other reason for being there, is a cool concept. I think he also genuinely does care about the others, and his friendship with Grian is actually so sweet (I want to see them team up for real tbh).
He's also just so good at being mysterious. Maybe he looks over the players when the games are done, maybe he doesn't. He's never mentioned in Hermitcraft. Grian doesn't look for him outside the games, he knows he won't find him. He's this intriguing third piece to the story that I just know will have some relevancy one day, we just need to wait for it. Whatever it is, he's good at playing it, and it's fun to kind of work in all the little details to form a bigger picture. He's often alone. He had the strange, red tasks in Secret life. He lies and gaslights players for no reason. He's at the same time hilarious and friendly and has no murderous intent. He's not particularly affected by turning red. His whole thing with the Creakings. He dies early on pretty consistently - perhaps intentionally leaving the games before things get too intense. What a Speaker even is we don't know. But I love Bigb, and I love thinking about it.
I think, for pride month, people should send in asks about their QSMP queer headcanons (sexuality and gender) and be as specific about it as possible – xenogenders, neopronouns, split attraction model, please I promise I'm chill about it as a neopronouns user who also uses micro labels 🙏🙏🙏
