Recently I’ve been thinking more and more about how to improve the look of my stall to make it more professional, so I’ve taken on a new look. Here’s the first step towards that:- ID tags!!
It was simple enough to mock up a basic concept idea for these, with my logo and either Vendor or Artist for simple identification on the stall. I’m looking into getting lanyards made up with my logo on them as well, until then I will use my Pride lanyard at events.
Another idea I have of improving the look of my business and stall is more frequent blog updates, so here’s the first of many!!
Working on a new piece for Saturday!!!

New Logo.
I've been working on some very different styles of work recently for INKtober, and I loved one so much that I made it into my new logo.
Just another scratch in my sketchbook. turned 2 today!!! Yass!!!!
Been working on a wee L4D doodle tongiht. Not super productive, but I quite like it.
It's a very sad day when a commission is left without an owner. A very lovely gentleman requested a commission of the Gastly evolution going from quite pixelated, to smooth like how the game's quality progressed. Unfortunately he showed no interest in actually purchasing the painting once it was complete, and therefore has cost me time and money, but I also have a very lonely commission without a home.
I really hate it when things like this happen, because not only does it mean that I've wasted my time with something I've made personally for the customer, but it also means that I'm out of pocket in the long run. I do this for a little extra money for things that I need that I can't afford with just my weekend job. I love painting, and completing pieces just to see the smile on the customer's faces at the end is priceless, but I don't just paint to show people I can do it. The money I earn from these paintings goes quite a long way, considering I'm a student with a crappy weekend job. I hate people that just say "Draw me something!!!" and expect a drawing or a painting for nothing. I know I'm not the only one it happens to.
So having said that, I'm trying to find this wee guy a new home. Someone who'll love it as much as I loved painting it. If anyone is interested, message me here or over at facebook.com/sketchyline
So college is now officially finished for the summer, and I've been working super hard already on loads of new work. Here's some of what I have so far. Very very much in love with them, and all the shows that inspired them.

So my graded unit got handed in last week, and I've not really had time to draw or do anything properly really since Christmas. I've always admired the Alien films, especially the artwork behind the costume design. And as a homage to H.R Giger, I took about 6 hours out of my day to draw this. It's also the start of something new that's happening soon. Lots of new work is on its way!!!
I've got loads more over on Facebook!!!
I've been super super busy with college work recently, it's taken over my life, and I haven't had time to work on anything properly for a long time, so here's a little doodle I did whilst procrastinating. It's not much, but I really like it.
TARDIS - Digital Print.

I've been working so so so hard these past few weeks, and here's some of the work I have to show for it!!! These are 4 out of the 6 new pieces that'll be making their debut on my stall this weekend in Walkabout. If you're in town (and over 18) head on up!! I promise it'll be loads of fun!!
