Any advice on how to get them to stop chewing my curtains?

Also, how often do their horns actually need sanding down?

For the nibbling, you can’t really stop them from doing that, but you can redirect them, so id suggest getting them something else to chew on

As for the sanding, don’t. Their horns are incredibly sensitive and it will just cause unnecessary pain since thier horns don’t have the chance of growing into them like dubwool horns

Giving up their education..? I don't know what's it like on your end but where I'm from but the island trials generally just happen between school years on summer break? If anything I'd say if someone stopped going to school afterwards it's the school's fault for driving them away

Trials take years to complete. Signing up as an adult is something worthy of being ostracize.
