[OOC POST] "Remember forever"

I drew this at D&D camp. Apparently the campaign's based on a music album. So there's these guys called "forevers" and they're kind of like warforged???? Idk, but we blew up its castle's neuckear reactor and the whole party survived. Our Cat (tabaxi monk) took it head on and took zero damage. He then changed his character name to Schrödinger's Trick. My Space Hippo gunslinger with a machine gun died a few sessions later. This piece depicts the orc guards' reaction to our green-flavoured miniature "Here comes the sun". I'm proud.

Due to the previous failure in communication, I will now be leaving this camp. Unsurprisingly, like our Disintegrator, none of the vehicles here seem to function anymore.

It has been 4 hours since I last say the sky, today proves to be a very cloudy day. If rain falls, I at least have a coat now. Out of everything that has happened to me so far, the most surprising thing is that I still have not seen a single lifeforce that isn't flora. Nonetheless, I march on. Out for another comms uplink, or anything that could get their attention.

It has been near an hour and still the karking piece of scrap will not function. It is really trying my patience. I will spend a little longer, but more than an hour and I'm leaving. I am aware this entry is shorter, but my patience is really running dry.

I have been unable to get any rest periods as of late, seeing as though I have been deployed with my most dense of fellow skitarii to an ice world that puts the void of space to shame. I am the only one tending to our only heat source, and the other three are probably off galavanting somewhere and getting themselves killed.

We departed at dawn, sun in our backs. Travelling for about twenty minutes, at the average speed of our Disintegrator. We suffered a power outage and got ambushed. I was stuck under an iron bar because of the jostling around, and I was left behind. The Disintegrator is still out of power, but I managed to climb free and it only cost me a part of my left foot. I don't think it is safe to cross No Man's Land, any assistance is welcome.

Entry start:

It has been 12 hours since my previous Entry. I have come across an encampment, though it appears to have been hastily abandoned. Whether this happened before or after the battle, I can not tell. Nevertheless, I will use the camp to my advantage. Medicae, munitions, anything here could help me. If I'm lucky, there's a comms center.

Walking into one of the barracks tent, I noticed none of the bags have even been packed up. Even the footlockers are full. More for me, I would say. While I'm recording this entry, I am taking things I could use from one of these lockers. Not that much I can use, but the raincoats are very welcome. I will report again if anything interesting happens.

Entry Start:

I reached the shore around 3 hours ago, and have been following it North since. The waves seem larger than they are home. It's strange...

...

The sand is an orange-red color, rather than the orange-brown I'm used to as well. Everything is so close to home, to perfect. But it is quiet. Where are the animals, the people...? I do not like being alone in this way, I have not seen a single creature of fauna.

I will report back upon meaningful information.
