*Rises from the grave* I LIVVVVEEEEEE!!!

So so sorry for being radio silent for so long. My mental health kinda took a dip around the end of 2025, but I’m okay now. I spent a long time trying to perfect Hailey’s design, but I think I got it now. So here’s a reference of her and a basic profile. The Rise logo belongs to @kittpunk144.

Some interesting facts about Hailey:

- She has panic disorder, which is an anxiety disorder where one regularly has sudden panic attacks or fear. She’s been homeschooled up to middle school and has been in counseling which has helped a lot, but she still feels anxious and keeps to herself most of the time.

- Artsy. Will doodle on any blank space she can find. Notebook pages, jeans, you name it. Keeps a handful of sketchbooks in her room. Wants to be a jewelry designer or nail technician someday.

- Has scars on her arms and lower abdomen from a car accident that killed her mother when she was 10. People assumed she cuts herself, so she keeps the scars covered with hoodies and long sleeves.

- Has a bad habit of biting her bottom lip so hard it bleeds. It’s often unnoticeable, but Leo makes a habit to tell her to stop.

- Secretly collects Lipsmackers lip gloss and Elle Kennedy books. She’s just like me for real lol

- She’s is afraid of heights. She absolutely refuses to go on any of the tall rides at amusement parks. She’s much more happier on the ground taking pictures.

- She has a three year old cat named Orion, who’s a solid black cat with a white star shaped patch on his chest and green eyes. He is Hailey’s familiar, and the two can communicate telepathically.

- Because she’s a half-witch, she’s not always in control of her powers. They are empowered by her emotions, both positive and negative. Her necklace is to help her control her powers and doubles as a cloaking brooch to cover her pointy ears around humans, similar to Sunita’s cloaking brooch.

I don’t nearly talk about my other oc Sky as often as I should, but I needed to share this. As I’m sure you guys are probably thinking, yes, I do ship Donnie with her. I like to call their ship Midnight Skies. How are they in the woods being surrounded by the threat of unnatural creatures intending to harm them?

Man, I’ve definitely improved since I first drew this last year. I normally suck at drawing backgrounds(and varying color palettes due to lighting), but I like how this turned out. And before you guys ask me, no, I didn’t forget Hailey’s necklace in the new version. I just couldn’t find space for it.

Hold up… I slowed down this small snippet. Casey’s grappling hook comes out of his arm. Does he have a Genius Built bionic arm too?! That future Donnie built?! WAITAMINUTE! Tell me I’m not the only one that sees it…

It took me a while to see what you were seeing - the grappling hook seemed to just pop into existance, since it happened so quickly - but I think you're right!

Casey has this metalic piece on his right arm under the elbow with a slot in it. It is not on the left.

In the shot you've isolated, you can see it popping out of the arm - not just that, but you can see the mechanism doing the popping out (that little grey bar connecting the grappling hook apparatus to the arm), the now empty slot it came out of, and the size of the grappling hook piece, all of which serve to show HOW DEEP INSIDE HIS ARM THE APARATUS GOES.

Too deep, is the answer. At least, too deep to be a cuff or gauntlet. To go that far into his arm, he... can't HAVE a forearm, it takes up the bulk of that part of his limb.

I have never noticed that before, great eye!

Donnie said apparel. Casey did not. But that could be because Donnie didn’t see the arm, and Casey didn’t flinch when Donnie hit his arm so hard! And the tech could be referencing his bionic arm.
