No one is obsessed with the Adaine-Gorgug friendship like I am. Gorgug gives very strong "no one can make fun of Adaine except me & I do it frequently" vibes. Adaine is one of the first people to protect Gorgug from bullying (in the first couple episodes she stops Ragh from teasing him in the cafeteria). Half the time when Siobhan makes a joke Zac is the only other one to hear it (and vice versa), so if you just watch the two of them you'll see them giggling to themselves for like half the episode.

Gorgug was born with the expectation that he will rage and be violent, but he was raised very kindly so he hates doing it (at first). Meanwhile, Adaine was born with the expectation that she would be nice and proper and poised, but she was raised in a way that was conducive to cruelty, and because she refuses to be callous like her parents she channels the violence into rage in battle. She helps Gorgug with getting angry and Gorgug helps her with staying hopeful and I love them so much

What I love about Fantasy High is that there’s SO much to say about the bad kids dynamics with each other as duos. There is no weak pairing within the 6 of them, they all have their own fleshed out and highly positive dynamics with each other, and for that reason they are one of the strongest friend groups ever.

Henry Hopclap is the unsung hero of Junior Year.

At first, him making Gorgug take 3 years of Artificer classes at once seems unbelievably cruel and a huge load of stress to put on the poor guy, but when you think about it, that was exactly what he needed to propel him into mastery over BOTH of his classes, and finding the way to merge them.

Because not only does doing 3 years of a class at once significantly boost your understanding of it, but that pressure is also the KEY to Gorgug being a better barbarian. Henry did more for Gorgugs rage than Porter ever did, and then some. By the end of it all, Gorgug accomplished everything he needed to, had a better understanding of the application of rage and proved everyone wrong, but he couldn’t have done it without the burning drive to prove them (and especially Henry) wrong.

In conclusion: Porter sucks so bad that a little gnome tinkerer ended up being an exponentially better barbarian teacher.

Riz breaking into his friends' houses is an act of love. Ok. He just wants to check in. I think he does it to Fabian the most because Seacaster manor is pretty close, Fabian Riz bestieism, and also Fabian gets lonely and Riz knows he appreciates the company </3 he has the most fun doing it to Gorgug though. The Thistlesprings definitely have some ridiculous high tech security system and evading it is good exercise. Enrichment. They ask him for notes afterwards if he manages to sit down at the dinner table with them undetected. Mordred manor break ins happen the least because they're so far away from where he lives but (but!) it definitely HAS happened occasionally and whoever finds him first (more often than not Adaine. Cause. Y'know.) wins nothing but gets to feel better than everyone else (I think they've gotten way too into this and Raulothim's Psychic Lance shenanigans HAVE Happened. Riz has a great int save but he can't always win. Rip.)

What do you mean K2 canonically farted, said blimey, and then rolled a nat 20 on the most crucial dispel magic in the campaign? WHAT DO YOU MEAN K2 HAS ESCAPED FICTION AND IS CURRENTLY ROAMING AMONGST US?

Even the Buddy/Kalina team up for next season is a direct cause of Kristen’s banishment spell. This gremlin has so much power it is unbelievable. Bless their fucking heart.

Thinking about "it's Gorgug, keep going" a normal amount rn.

Cause sometimes when you're lost in a forest of darkness and nightmares, and you know your friends are out there. You don't know what they're facing but you know it's bad, arguably the most bad it could ever be. You know you can't help them, these are fights they have to face for themselves.

But what you can do is try and remind them, just for a moment, that they aren't ever really alone. You're in their corner. You're with them in the thick of it. You'll be there when they get to the end.

It's Gorgug. Keep going.
