Hello everyone! We are extremely excited to announce that we are back with SkyStar Week 2026! This year's dates will be between Monday 29th June to Sunday 5th July! We invite as many of you to participate and have fun devising whatever you can for these two starstruck planes!

Our list of prompts for this year is:

Day 1 (Monday 29th) - Mirror / Mask  Day 2 (Tuesday 30th) - Experiment / Misunderstanding Day 3 (Wednesday 1st) - Gift / Weapon Day 4 (Thursday 2nd) - Jealous / Trapped Day 5 (Friday 3rd) - Royalty / Imposter Day 6 (Saturday 4th) - Fireworks / Compass Day 7 (Sunday 5th) - Date / Apology

However, they are not strict guidelines and you don't have to follow them. These are simply there to give people ideas for fanworks! At the end of the day the main rule is to have fun! We'll be keeping you notified with more updates as we get closer to the date! For now happy SkyStar!

We're about a month away from SkyStar Week! Hope you're all having fun and we're looking forward to seeing all of the ideas you'll be devising!

So. I was slightly distracted from drawing a comic about Aerialbots on... insects. More than six months ago, I came across a short fanfic (Cocooning Concerns by NyonSuperstar) with AU with insecticons, where Skyfire is a moth, and Starscream is a scarab. I was already excited about this idea, but somehow it didn't go beyond bad and schematic sketches. And now I've remembered about it again and made something more decent. The first one is just my idea. I like the idea that Starscream is like a narcissistic prince of scarabs, but when it comes to a beautiful moth, he gets shy. The second one is just a moment from a fanfiction. The sketch designs are a bonus.

And please pay attention. I don't know how to find the author of the fanfiction because I don't have an AO3 profile, and guest links are likely to be blocked. Therefore, I would appreciate it if you could share this post, even though it may seem a bit cheeky.

NyonSuperstar, if you see this, I have to tell you. Your idea is really cool. I really enjoyed reading and drawing these comics. Thank you!!!

Consider this a bit of a follow-up to the first one I drew...

Picked the reunion prompt, because I couldn't end on something too sad, I'm too soft-hearted for that... You ever trick the devil into giving you a new body so you can go see someone again? I wanted him to look a bit banged up... I can't imagine that he got away from Galvatron and Co. completely unharmed, after all.

This is the first time I've stuck to a weekly art thing all the way through, this was so much fun... Happy SkyStar week :)
