Zombie setting where the undead are drawn towards unhygienic scents, so survivors constantly bathe to avoid being eaten.
Zombies are docile when adorned with flowers.
Settlements overgrown with herbs and flora.
Barely any banditry; everyone is focused on farming and gathering.
Different human factions and towns named after flowers like Lilies, Orchids, Roses, etc.
Instead of immediately killing an infected survivor, they’re given special funeral rites - the zombie is covered with flowers to keep them calm, and allowed to walk out from the settlement to join the hordes.

It’s incredibly risky to attack zombies. The scent of the attacker’s aggressive intent coupled with spilled pungent rotten blood drives other zombies into a frenzy.
Zombies given funeral rites grow flowers within their bodies, eventually bursting from their chest and head area. These zombies are naturally gentle and their presence tames other zombies in the vicinity. Due to their helpfulness, it’s taboo to harm “blooming” undead:
Sweaty summers are the worst and everyone hopes they have enough dried flowers to last the winter.
It’s a colourful apocalypse! An overabundance of flowers in the world leads to plenty of dyes and busy little honey bees!! Scented candles are a thriving export.
Survivors who help spread flowers, look after “blooming” undead, cull the hordes, and herd zombies away from safe areas are affectionately called Florists.
Regular weapons such as guns and knives are still used but everyone prefers perfumed water guns, spray bottles, and incense.
Zombies are so overwhelmed by the pleasant scent of rain that entire hordes cease movement until it’s gone.
I've been writing the part.2 of Frightening Transformations and I've noticed a couple things.
I've been reading through all my old fics and thought they were much too short so I'm probably gonna rewrite them. So tell me if A.)you guys want me to just edit the old fics to make them longs OR B.) Rewrite the old fics as whole new posts and keep the old ones.
Secondly on the agenda, I really hate writing fics calling the viewer as Y/N or reader and even as you. So instead i might sprinkle in a little OC or give the Reader a title. (Ex. Officer 1036, User 1036, Visitor 1036, Badge. 1036) I don't really know what to call the reader but leave your ideas in the comments!!

Okay so i get why people like dark fics and why they're so popular on tumblr because it itches that dark part of the brain in a mostly safe way. I KNOW because i read dark fics MYSELF!! Im into slashers, its my name for fuck sake!!
BUT sometimes I feel like some of the fics just go a bit too far. Like i already didn't really like yandere ideals in fics if it wasn't mutual idk. Like what bothers me is that they take this character but take out all of their character traits of what makes them, THEM but skew into something that doesn't resemble the character at all (I'm not talking about slasher fics mostly but alot of COD fics)
Like the traits of stalking, murdering for reader/character and stuff like that i don't really mind but when you start making characters cheat, torture and start kidnapping reader/character as a form of punishment I just feel like its taken a bit too far.
A tumblr user @shoukiko made a really similar post about the same thing and i fully agree, i believe this goes with almost 100% all characters widely liked on tumblr. You can find their post here.
I know i shouldn't judge and i really don't (I dont go leaving hate comments and being mean to the writer about what they like to write)but its just not my cup of vodka

Forsure cause it would be impossible for me to keep liking and reblogging all of them at this rate. As long as cod writers keep writing for plus size readers/character im gonna keep roblogging them

I wasn't even talking about plus-size!readers before, i was talking about plus-size!characters but just because of your attitude, I'll be making a masterlist for all the plus-size fanfics i find for my bitches and bros and nonbinary hoes even though i many not be plus size myself. Yes things felt off about this company but so does everyother one. If they want to admit or not, all companies have some sort of secrets they want to keep out of the public eye but some secrets are darker than others.
You were assigned as a caretaker of sorts to help keep them in tip top shape by making sure they were clean, had no rips or tears and just overall made sure they were interacting okay with the children
And the smiling critters appreciated this!
They were always treated distantly and alienated so it was a good change to have someone so genuine and kind hearted towards them actually be nice than just tolerating them for obligatory sake
Being introduced to them for the first time was a whirlwind
"It's nice to meet you Ms./Mx. (lastname)! I'm DogDay and these are all my friends!"
You were soon crowded by all the smiling critters towering over you who were excited to meet you, except for one..
DogDay was excitedly introducing you to all his friends but you couldn't help but notice a giant purple cat who was lurking off in the distance on top of a building. As soon as he realized your gaze was on him his hopped off the building and disappeared behind it.
"How strange.." you thought to yourself when it seemed like dogday read your mind
"Oh! That was CatNap! He's a bit shy but he'll warm up to you soon enough"
DogDay said patting your shoulder.
And so your job begun..
Everyday you would watch over the smiling critters as they played with the children making sure no accidents occurred
Everyday you learned and connected with the smiling critters learning all that you could and truly make everyone comfortable
But when the smiling critters get a little too comfortable around you that management surely won't like..
