Weiss refused to turn and face her familiar, not least because of the blush covering her features, and poured her focus single-mindedly into the tear in her shaman-ing tunic she was trying to fix.
Blake still sat on the bed, hands rubbing the covers reminiscent of her kneading in feline form. The spirit seemed seized with an uncharacteristic timidity, wholly unfitting her imposing, almost Amazonian features, and faltered once more before speaking.
“You...could tell me if the kiss, while wholly inappropriate..was unwelcome?”

…long story short. i had another Talk with my parents and as soon as i’m able i want to move out of their house. this won’t be for another 3-4 years at the very least, since i’m trying to get postsec education, but I want to be able to go as soon as i am able, or if an emergency (eg kicked out of the closet) happens. i dont have the time to get a job on top of studies, so writing is the main way for me to earn
details can be found by going on my blog, tho i do need to edit some it. i tend to specialise in lgqbt+ writing, and have a good track with polya.
literally anything will help (canadian dollar is low, relative to usual) me. my plan is to build up enough money to be able to search out a new place by the time i finish studying.
i know a lot of folk need help on tumblr, so it’s okay to consider this a low priority ask for help. if you cant buy a few words, just reblogging these would help tremendously.

A grin snakes across the man’s face and a quick scan of the board confirms her assumption: She lost.
She cedes gracefully and sits back on her stool, viper grin still wide across her lips.
“You say that like being a murderer and being good at chess are mutually exclusive.” Chin rests on a palm as fingertips drum gently against her cheekbone, the warm tingle of alcohol lighting the nerves of her face with every contact. “If I kill a man on the road and take his philosophy book to read, am I no longer a murderer simply because I can ponder concepts not many dare consider?”
A silky laugh slips from her, and she chalks it up to the alcohol, or maybe it’s the lively company she experiences rarely? None of Salem’s cronies dare speak to her, let alone engage in casual bar banter. Oh, she liked this one from a personal stance; how sad he will die in Maman’s great genesis.
“So, the silver-tongued murderer and innocent traveler have finished a high-stake bet, and the poor victim has no clue what the consequences are that shall befall them; what now, hmm?” Her index finger arches up to tap against her temple. “I think there is some merit to this story, don’t you? People do love tales of innocent young maidens in trouble. But I believe we had a wager, now didn’t we?”
She tips back a freshly filled glass of whiskey as her mind races to find a name to give, settling on one that calls to her in the dark seconds after she wakes from nightmares. The glass settles back on the bar and she offers her right hand to the man, golden gaze boring into his.
“A proper introduction; It’s a pleasure to meet you, Simon Slate, my name is Rochelle DuPont.”
He took the hand firmly and without hesitation, meeting gold eyes with silver and a flash of mischief.
“Then I guess you got your story after all, miss DuPont,” he said smoothly as a broad smile spread over his face. He placed the shivers that suddenly rushed down his spine as satisfaction at the way the name rolled off his tongue, and the relief from the pressure of his semblance would have him giddy on it’s own if the teased reward hadn’t already had him buzzing.
“I’ll have to leave the details of sprung trap and hidden sting to you who’d know them better. For all I know you better now, I’m not sure I can say I know you at all until I find out which of our travellers makes it out alive.” Where eyes were still fixed on each other, some kind of spark passed suddenly-and he blinked away, not sure what he’d just seen and even surer less if he’d wanted to see it. Still, the words came almost as easily as they had all night.
“I’ll have to seek out your stories for my way home once I finish my journey and catch up with Amber and company. It’s a long flight back to Beacon from Drayton and it’d be almost like having some company on the trip.”
And there, but for the grace of sobriety, went the words. For all the darkness that followed, the broken oaths in betrayed path, the words were gone from the man’s mind as soon as they were said, to be forgotten by morning. After all, on any other night, or to any other traveller, their meaning would be lost, rather than spelling the end to many things.

‘Young Justice’ Is Being Resurrected For A Third Season
The fan-favorite 2011-13 animated series Young Justice is returning for a new season. Warner Bros. Animation have confirmed production has begun on a third seasons of the series, although they haven’t yet specified the return date or which network the show will air.
“The affection that fans have had for Young Justice, and their rallying cry for more episodes, has always resonated with us,” said Warner Bros. Animation President Sam Register. “We are excited to bring the show back for this loyal fanbase and to provide an opportunity for new viewers to discover this excellent series.”
Original series producers Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti are scheduled to return for this renewed third season.
