It is literally driving me crazy. I vaguely remember seeing a recommendation for a fic and loving it and now I can’t find it, so I thought I’d ask. Do you know a fic where Hannibal is having a fancy party and Will is upstairs ill. Will is kind of out of it so he wanders down in pyjamas and sits on Hannibals lap. Hannibal, being Hannibal is totally chill but Will is embarrassed the next day? I think?

This is kinda a shot in the dark, but it was really good. Any other fancy dinner party fic recs totally welcome too :)

I've known this for awhile. These cheat codes make almost everything that is annoying on AO3 a non-issue. It's a seriously badass platform. To be clear, you must put the code in "search within results" EXACTLY as it appears in the code list. No capitals, the right spaces and punctuation.

this one is just,,, the cutest and i have read it like 20 times so far and it never fails to disappoint. it’s a 5+1 with times his kids called him dad and once he called himself dad. it has a hint of superbat, but that’s not the focus of the story.

our house in the middle of our street is the adorable one I’m reading at the moment - human au where charles fosters the first class gang and erik is the gardener who ends up staying for good (I haven’t finished it yet, so I can’t warn for potential triggers, read at own discretion)

for I mean to conquer troy is just…there are no words for how absolutely gorgeous it is. fix-it fic set a year after first class where charles accidentally winds up in a coma and erik returns to the mansion, seeing it as his responsibility to see the humans don’t find the little group of mutants at the school. paternal!erik is just…wonderful. you’ll adore it. the only warnings I can think of is that the helmet is very heavily implied to be sort of… possessed, and there’s a very vague description of janos performing a religious rite over it. 

the better men is a truly astounding hogwarts professors au with charles as the head of ravenclaw and teaching divination, and erik as the head of slytherin teaching potions, the two of them having to work together through their history and tentative renewing romance to foil a terrifying evil plot going down at the school. the evil plot is seriously fucking dark but I wouldn’t say its any worse than what happens in the novels so?? probably okay

words and pictures is an adorable short au where erik is a single daddy trying to help his young daughter through the manifestation of her powers, when he discovers charles’ books for young mutants and kind of becomes obsessed with him.

fathers and sons is a hilarious post-dofp short that sort of fits the co-parenting trope as it involves erik telling peter that he’s his father. mostly from hank’s pov, everyone’s an asshole, erik absolutely does not regularly stop by the mansion and charles mopes and moons.

Rock 'n' Roll Queer Bar Series

Anyone who’s a Destiel shipper should read this series! I have no words for it, so Imma quote the description here:

It’s incredibly well-written and balances fluff with angst, and everybody is really in-character. I was rolling around laughing half the time, but then emotions happened too. I especially like her characterization of Cas—he’s snarky and witty and just…Cas.
