It's also specifically a response to Jews calling out antisemitism in the first place.
Literally the only context in which that word salad of a sentence would occur is if you're talking about Israel in some way and someone says, "no, that's antisemitic."
It's an impressive move, because we already had "antizionism isn't antisemitism!"
And sure, that's an INCREDIBLY ridiculous statement. Like, OMG?! ALERT THE PRESS, THERE'S AN ENTIRE TOPIC YOU CAN TALK ABOUT WITHOUT EVER RISKING SAYING SOMETHING ANTISEMITIC??? Is antizionism also inherently never racist, misogynist, Islamophobic, ableist, etc?! YOU'VE SOLVED OPPRESSION!!!
But since everybody was pretending it WASN'T a ridiculous statement, there was no real need to take it to the next level. By rephrasing it to imply that the only reason anyone would ever accuse you of hating Jews was that you oppose genocide.
The true fucking BEAUTY of this move is that it is wildly antisemitic to genuinely believe there's a specifically Jewish movement in favor of genocide.
Like, yeah, THAT'S what the history of the past 200 years have shown us. Jews COMMIT genocide. Jews just loooove a good genocide.
It's so poetic and sad that they would do to others what was just done to them!
Sure, they haven't enslaved 26,000,000 people, or any people at all. They haven't built industrial death factories. They haven't killed 41% of the Palestinians on earth, or 66% of the people of Palestine. They haven't developed a massive propaganda system telling the world that Palestinians are the cause of all its problems. They haven't stripped Palestinian Israelis of their citizenship, their businesses, their jobs, or their bank accounts.
It's extremely antisemitic to erase the entire Holocaust, or claim that Jews are actually doing any of the above because "they're the real Nazis."
Defending themselves by huffily saying, "you just think I'm biased against Jews because I oppose genocide," is kind of an evil genius move.
