Inspired by Saul Leiter, this picture was swiftly snapped in the streets of Helsinki.

In Helsinki, we went to the Gallen-Kallela museum to see the Sergey Prokudin-Gorsky exhibition. His photographs were made using a pioneering colour technique, and for this reason alone it is worth going to see his pictures. But, most importantly, these pictures offer a unique glimpse of life and people, that took place more than a century ago. Even though many of the portraits are very arranged, with poor farmers taking out their most precious pieces of clothing, you still get sort of a documentary approach.
Most of the pictures are available from the Library of Congress.
