Heyyy so like-

I made an actual AU out of boredom and curiosity! The premise is that there was a spinoff released as the original show gained more popularity, but was stopped in its tracks a little while after the show ended. (Basically those carbon-copy reboots of cartoons that only make the characters younger for whatever reason-)

Not a lot has changed, buuut here are the general ones:

The majority of the AU takes place in the 50s when the characters are around 15-17!

The characters don’t technically “live” in the neighborhood, most of the houses have been scrapped in place of a school, playground, diner, etc (nonsensical show logic and all)

Howdy and Eddie have part-time jobs instead of full ones! Eddie is a newspaper boy and Howdy mans the front counter of his family’s diner

The characters hang out with each other and have their own adventures outside of the show itself, semi-sentient in a way??

More happy-go-lucky and lively than the original, I don’t wanna give these kids that much trauma 😭

…I have a love-hate relationship with this being my first post of pride month-

This is definitely a kinda crappy Au that came from both hyperfixations and now I can’t stop thinking about it lol! Why have, like, TWO neighbors do drag when they can ALL do drag?! (it’s quickly infecting me help/hj)

This is Puma, they’re an alien sona based off of lava lamps. I wanted to give bite a creepy analog horror feel while also making her cute (think of aesthetics like m0rute, gurokawa, pastel goth, etc). I also got a little inspiration from drag fashion/makeup since it has started becoming one of my biggest interests!!

The hair is its own entity, but only the bangs are really “sentient”. Think the hair as a whole is a conglomerate of worms, but the bangs are like..birds? If I’m using my own analogy right lol—

I’ve never had a persona I felt so attached to before I just know I’m gonna draw glow a lot :3

First new ocs in a while✌️

I just designed these today with almost little to no thought when I started lol- (yes I gave them corny names shut up/j)

They are basically a criminal group of drag queens that are quickly gaining traction in the public eye, especially with other gangs in their crime-ridden city.

I based the three off of aspects that come with storms:

Ms. Chief = thunder: very loud and in charge. Mostly made of squares

Ms. Conduct = lightning: versatile, ecstatic (lol pun), and quick on her feet. Mostly triangles

Miss Demeanor = clouds: idealistic, kind of inexperienced, capable of being aggressive and dangerous. Mostly circles, a few triangles here and there

I’ll post more abt them here and on my Characterhub soon enough, I’m one final week of school away from being free 😭
