Dnteens jobs as adults!!

I was taking my wonderful midday nap and suddenly the idea of all the teens careers as adults hit me

Link & Scary ~ these were the easiest ones for me, link already has a canon job as a PE teacher and i like to imagine that unlike most PE teachers who students lie to to get out of the mile he's like uber forgiving, like students love him because he's so nice and sweet and he's the type of teacher to yell at the class when they misbehave but its not the yelling that makes the kids listen its the knowledge that they made there favorite teacher upset. He obviously loves sports and takes it serious but I know for a fact if a single student is like "hey can i sit out today...?" he would let them in a heartbeat and cut them some slack if there mile run is more of a walk.

How scary fits in, I feel like every high school has the teacher couple that are married and POLAR opposites, I'd like to imagine scary is a published author with a couple poetry books whose also an English teacher. She's the teacher everyone's honestly afraid of because she has hardcore RBF but she's actually really sweet and encouraging to her students! She definitely doesn't mess around w students who aren't listening and will full on go off on them, but for the students who respect her class or want to pursue literature she's a dream to be around. She's very much the teacher who people will either say is an asshole or a sweetheart and depending on what they say will determine a LOT about there character. There's also definitely a select number of students who are allowed to eat in her room during lunch and they tell scary all of the drama and scary has to go back and forth between saying what she would say if she was still in high school and than putting her authoritative role back on and being like "don't say that that's rude"

Taylor

Taylor is pushing his nepo baby rights to the MAX, I think Taylors the random unemployed friend who doesn't respond to your texts for a week and than they go "Lmao sorry for the late response I was a mo-cap actor for some random video game" like he definitely jumps around jobs and is kind of the jack of all trades in the gaming/anime industry, he has a name reputation for being good at what he does, but what does he do? nobody really knows...??? At one point he was doing voice acting, at another he made his own indie anime that kind of popped off but only because people thought it was supposed to be a satirical comedy, he also gets involved in all sorts of controversy like he's on twitter 24/7 talking about shitty dubs and calling out actors by name with no remorse. His ability to jump around and do a bit of everything is due to his nepo baby moneyyyy, while hes made money on his own accords and could provide for himself he's never been in a rush to because of all those funds. Also on the whole leg covered in ankle monitors reveal, since were talking about him being in the anime industry i want to imagine that a rival company he was butting heads with had finished the script for the first episode of there anime and Taylor tried to sneak into there office, steal the script, and get it published by a different company to ruin there business but he got caught IMMEDIEATLEY and got put on house arrest. (this is not the first time he's tried something like this)

Normal!

I think it took normal a long time to find his stride, I think he got to college didn't know what he wanted and got a business degree because it seemed most helpful. I think he jumps around different companies helping them organize and is on the managerial sides of things but has never truly enjoyed it, he felt stuck at work constantly going from workplace to workplace and it was ruining his already awful mental state, I think eventually he got offered a job closer to his home, it was the same as his previous jobs just simple desk work sending emails organizing all the boring business stuff like team meetings and checking everyone's schedules (can you tell I'm a high school senior with little idea of how the world works?) but the difference was that this job wasn't for a big company it was for a local Library/Rec center. From there he slowly got invested in this sad dying community center and started coming up with ideas for events to raise moral and create a actual place for the community and before long he was promoted to a planner sort of position where he got to plan events for the community like biweekly game nights and movie Mondays etc., I think seeing the joy and spirit he brings to the community through this role would bring him a lot of the satisfaction and joy he got from being a mascot (also you KNOW that he pitched an idea for a mascot and may or may not be the one running around in a oversized sweaty suit during charity races)

Hermie

I had such long winded explanations for all the other teens but for Hermie I was just like "yeah he probably works in sfx makeup and costume design" and like, yeah. I think he still pursues acting and theater and its a great love of his and I'm sure he's scored a few roles in indie films or big theater productions but in-between all that he's found a stable position helping transform other actors into there characters. If not sfx maybe screenwriting and standup as his main career while he looks for acting gigs. I feel like standup/screen writing is the most obvious answer but idk something about costume design and sfx makeup Hermie just hits for me, I think him learning how to help others shine in the spotlight is just so important and like right for me.

(also hermie and normal live together idc what anyone says there not doomed, not to me, I cant stand to let my beautiful baby boys slip from eachothers fingertips)
