I keep thinking about the theory of lucifer making Alastor 'the executioner'. But honestly its never made any sense to me. Why would he have a sinner that he has a rivalry with, doesn't trust and only (as of the recent season) has around because of charlie??

I like to think that the demon he's most likely to trust with that role would be Satan.

Think about it. Alastor maybe the strongest sinner in hell but thats just the sinners.

The hierarchy goes:

1. Lucifer

2. Lilith and charlie

3. The 6 other Sins

4. Ars Goetia

5. Overlords

6. Sinners

Ect.

Satan is acting leader of the Sins and ruler of affairs while lucifer is gone from his duties. Lucifer may not be able to harm sinners but Satan is 'the law' and judge of hell.

Everyone keeps talki.g about how lucifer was nerfed in the last episode but GUYS. He's still the king of Hell.

He may not be able to harm sinners but he still has the Sins, Goetia, and 7 rings worth of hell born demon that I'm sure would fight for him.

And idk about the other hell born but Imps and hellhounds were created for fighting.

So its pretty clear that the casino Husk went to was his. The theme, and all the wings in the back ground look like his.

But what I'm wondering is it still under his control or did it become Alastors territory after acquiring his soul? Clearly Alastor let husk keep his powers or the majority of them as we can see he can take Velvette in a fight.

I hope we get some more information on this some day.

So as we know Vox is a liar. He's a liar and he's pathetically obsessed with Alastor. Which leads me to believe that Alastor does in fact have a tail and Vox is only saying that so other people stop fantasizing about his deer.

Can we talk about this scene?

This was such an ineffective attempt to hit Vox’s ego. After all, look at the empire he’s built specifically without Al. He might need Val and Vel, but obviously he doesn’t need Alastor. He’s successful, has friends, and people like him!

No, no, it’s much worse than this. He doesn’t need. He WANTS Alastor.

And when he gets him, it’s abundantly clear just how badly Vox wanted this, sure he humiliates Al by parading him around, but then he takes him on a date, just the two of them. He traps Al in his room, the most intimate of places in one’s home, and he offers to order a New Orleans originated drink he doesn’t have, just to please Al. The fantasy he’s playing out isn’t at all; “I need you on my team” it’s “I want you as my partner”

On Alastor’s side, I think he loves feeling needed, in this part of the song his tone slightly shifts and he shimmies around all confident. Even though what he’s saying isn’t doing anything for Vox. Maybe he’s speaking more for himself. He’s allowed Vox to stalk him since he’s returned from hiatus, perhaps he really does enjoy the attention. At the very least, being needed by Vox is stroking his ego.

A mutually beneficial arrangement, as TV and radio, both thrive off attention. One is just a lot less subtle about it

I'm still not over this. this shit is so funny to me because it isn't even like a public humiliation like the previous ones (the parade and news broadcast) like there's no visible cameras or drones or even any sort of visible crowd. he just did this shit for himself, he wanted that cute little smoothie date he never got even though now it's in an incredible fucked up way with a restrained, done and uninterested alastor. but he can pretend it's a cute little date like the delusional shit he is
