I foolishly didn’t think I’d be hit by the new rules because my stuff is mostly SFW, but apparently not.

The first one it can sorta get but... yeah. Didn’t get a notification for any of this either, had to double check my own blog out of curiosity. I put a lot of finished work on tumblr that I don’t post anywhere else, but it’s starting to look like I should back everything up and look for a another platform just in case.

Will probably still hang around here because I’m stubborn and optimistic, but if anyone wants my other social media, I have Instagram and a rarely used Twitter, but I have them?

An Update

Hey guys, sorry I haven’t been around for a bit... It’s a mix of seasonal depression (mine always gets worse during summer break) and getting hit by a car... 

About a week and a half ago, a car hit me as I was walking home from work. It hit my left leg, I rolled over the hood, and then fell hard on my right shoulder. The stopped for a few seconds before driving away over my backpack. Thankfully nothing was broken, but I was in quite a bit of pain for a while. I still managed to stubbornly drag myself onto a plane the next day to fly out to San Diego Comic-Con. 

(SDCC was a blast, I managed to get into Horikoshi-Sensei’s panels and grab some BNHA exclusives, which I think was more than worth the trip)

I recently moved up from a wheelchair to crutches, and my drawing arm is no longer in a sling and I can (hopefully!) get back to drawing stuff soon. I’ve been dealing with getting time off from work and the American health care system (nothing forces you to confront your social anxiety quite like having to make fifty phone calls just so you don’t have to pay $10,000 for an accident that wasn’t your fault...), but life’s been pretty okay since my accident. Like. I’m on painkillers and have been feeling some sort of lowkey version of survivor’s guilt but?

I’ve been surprisingly optimistic the last few days! Nothing like a near death experience to force you to reevaluate your life. I dunno, I feel really good right now. 

So anyway, that’s what I’ve been up to. How’re y’all? Good, I hope! Yeaaaaah

So I’ve been getting back into making comics again but I’m super rusty. Currently drawing out a scene that inspires me from offensiveagentpie’s fic When I See You Smile

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH so I finally finished my FINAL final exam. I did a rough four page comic in two hours, and it’s got very sloppy near the end but I’m rather proud of it. I’ll defo redo it at a more leisurely pace in the future. (I know the greys got kinda muddy ugh) So here are some quick cell phone pics I took before turning it in I guess. Now to pass out for 15 hours and then maybe finally some non-school art.

I love your art so much! You honestly inspire me to keep practicing and drawing and I really appreciate it because I sometimes lose motivation when it comes to drawing humans. Then I see your art and I'm like: "I must draw more to get better like them!" So thank you for that. It's also great to see that you draw dad-might which is something I can't get enough of, haha. Do you write or role-play as well, or are you strictly an artist? (^-^)

I’m an artist, mostly. I’m not very good with words and find it easier think in pictures if that makes sense? I’d love to get into drawing more comics though, so I guessI should work on the wordy talky stuff too…

In German Dandelions are called Löwenzahn with translated to lion tooth 🦁 So I kinda super agree with Löwenzahn/Dandelions being All Might flowers (Also Löwenzahn is a super old still running kids science show with one of the most funkiest intro(songs) ever and it just fits totally too)

It’s lion tooth (løvetand) in Danish as well! To me, the word dandelion feels soft, and lion tooth feels a bit hard. I think All Might is a bit of both.(I found the Loewenzahn intro very calming I quite liked it.)
