This rule was supposed to mean that if YOUR SCHOOL was shady and your education was moot, THEY were the ones held financially responsible. Apparently, DeVos and the DoE thinks that’s a bad idea.

there are a lot of dumb internet habits one that really grinds my gear is the “not helpful” people if a post specifically asks for information (an emotional situation on fb, a question on r/RBI, what have you) and someone thinks their wisest response is to say “WELL IT CUD REALLY B ANYTHING” or something along those lines like yeah, that’s a given we can debate epistemology until the cows come home. we can assert that there is no truth, no objective morality, no way to know what the future holds or what a best decision may end up being that’s not why the person poses the question you’re not gliding in there as Neil DeGrasse Tyson with some refreshing and honesty perspective, you’re just weighing down the conversation and honestly probably irritating people into a dumpster fire.  additionally, the amount of ....there’s no word i’m familiar with that fits. it’s not just apathy, or indecision, or “what-can-you-do” ...... someone’s contentment to sit in crossroads, telling others that there’s no moving beyond it..... ugh i need to flesh that idea out some more. anyway
