Dream SMP now: After the previous dictator of the country was found dying from a heart attack due to his intense drug and alchohol addiction the Revolution has a young child become the president. Outraged, the long-time companion and anarchist spawns two demons from hell to take down the facist government. During this, the previous President turned traitor almost presses the doomsday button before his father appears before him and attempts desperately to convince him not to. Despite this, the traitor pushes the button anyway, forcing his father to kill him. The child president now in charge of the rebuilding of a desolate wasteland while the anarchist continues to enforce a governless land, the members of the server now have to find a way to have things go back to normal after the traumatic events they experienced.

recently learned about a horticultural technique called Espalier, itās the funniest goddamn thing iāve ever seen.
Espalier allows trees to be trained into 2-dimensions, by tying the branches to a flat surface as the tree grows. They literally flatten the tree. They make the tree flat. Flat tree!!!

gardening is small spaces
maximizing or minimizing sunlight (since the branches all face the same direction) and therefore extending the growing season
Like. this is a legitimately practical gardening method. but it looks like they squished a tree between the pages of a book. just squashed it flat like a sad little dried flower! i could use these trees as a bookmark!!!
But yes, it is also a healthy and clever way to grow lots of fruit in small spaces, in climates they might not otherwise be suited for. Iām still going to make fun of it, but it honestly looks delightful and delicious.

it's so funny to me that wilbur just mentioned in passing that fundy's mother was a salmon and the fandom just STRAIGHT UP WENT AND CREATED A CHARACTER THAT'S NOT ACTUALLY IN THE SERVER and the members of the smp WENT WITH IT ANYWAY
I hope it is not rude of me to ask but, did you ever get hate from people after you wrote your stories? If you did, how did you deal with that? If you didn't, may I ask what is your advice on how to move forward from such type of readers? should you adjust the writing their preferences?
Itās not rude at all.
But I have to start by saying, please never adjust your writing to anyoneās preferences but yours! Especially for the sake of rude bullies!!
Whether people like your story or characters will always boil down to their personal taste. Not everyone will like what you create, thatās a hard fact to come to terms with, but once you do things get SO much easier!
Your actual story and your actual characters are yours. Theyāre unique to you. Thatās what makes them special. So write them how you want to write them. If people donāt like it, then itās not for them, and they can easily move onto something that they would enjoy. Thatās why thereās such variety in fiction and games, after all!Ā
When people contact you trying to demand or bully you into writing the way that would suit their personal taste...just donāt.Ā
I often get messages from people demanding characters be different (a very popular one being for Nate to be lessĀ āfeminine and soft for a male LIā???) or that the story suit their personal taste more (more guns, more fighting, etc). But thatās not how I want to write Wayhaven, so I donāt.
However, I do have a very trusted team of readers who I will take advice from concerning the story flow, etc. Iām lucky to have a group who have very different ways they look at Wayhaven so I get a great rounded view from their comments and how to make the story stronger!
I cannot stress enough to write what you want to write and how you want to write!
And if people are mean or rude, just ignore them and focus on the audience you are writing for.
