He could see her house from here and honestly he was slightly excited for what cosplay she had to show him, his day was filled with stress from exams and what not that what he needed right now was a rewind; “You want me to be your Valentine?” they had been friends for a very long time and they had a pact that he would always ask her to be his Valentine if things went awol and she ended up lonely because chances were he was going to as well but it made his heart flutter to know that Lola this one time had asked him; “I mean I would love to be your Valentine but I just-… I didn’t know you would me again. Does this mean you are going to give me a bear?” a slight smirk on his lips as he skipped the last few steps in front of her to hold the gate open to her apartment building; “Are you now? Well you know I love surprises so I can’t wait to see what you have in store for me” she always managed to get his guards down enough for him to have a good laugh and joke with her and for that he was thankful; “I am scared, I really am-… Ladies first though”

Ever since her mom died it had been apparent that Teddy was going to be such a prominent feature in her life, it was at that point when she found that she really was developing a very large crush on him. "Of course I want you to be my Valentine, I don't talk to many other people as much as I do you." Sometimes breaking the norm was a good thing, and in this case, she felt like she saw him smile just that little bit bigger, and look that little bit happier, that was what made her feel happier. "Of course I wanted you as my Valentine again who wouldn't want you as their Valentine? You're wonderful, Teddy, but yes, of course, I'm going to give you a bear, but you can't know what it looks like." Lola giggled as she made her way through her door and ran up the stairs to her door, making her way through into her apartment and picking up a few scraps of material and disappearing into the bathroom, pulling on her costume that was really more like a bikini and a few leather straps with a mask. She made her way out, pausing in the doorway "How do you feel about Catwoman?"

Homes didn’t have to be an object with four walls and a roof, sometimes they were other things; like people or apartments that only their owners were happy with. Personally Teddy preferred Lola’s over his any day, it wasn’t just about the space or how big it was, it was the comfort that she provided; “I mean it was kind of mandatory of me to do so; you were my Valentine” there had been a lot of times he had wanted Lola to be his Valentine but the one time he did ask - he had no idea how - and she said yes was the day that he knew that his heart was always gonna skip a beat when he saw her. He opened his mouth to say something but when he did she kissed his cheek and those words flew out of his mouth-… speechless some might say; “most of the time usually translates to all of the time Lolapop. I have been your friend long enough to know your tricks” He really needed to focus on his breathing because if he didn’t he was going to find himself in a bad position

Sometimes Lola wished her home was something more impressive, or at least something more exciting, but she only had what she could manage to have, and that was all she would ever manage to have, at least that’s what she assumed. “You’re my favourite Valentine, Teddy Bear, are we gonna be valentines this year again?” She asked with a grin, it was about time that she was the one to ask him whether or not he would be hers, because truth be told it was about time he didn’t have to ask her and she got to ask him that. “You don’t know all my tricks, I’m gonna surprise you one day just you wait.” She said with a chuckle, heading toward her apartment and up the stairs. “I don’t think you’re gonna be prepared for this cosplay.”

They had to be halfway to her house by now, the pathway his feet knew all too well because it was basically the same way to his house only he looked forward to going to hers, his -… not so much, he remembered all the times he would sneak into hers just so he could get some comfort because his parents didn’t give two shits about him; “I feel like sometimes you just like calling me that, like any conversation you will find an excuse” using his finger to bounce it off of her cute little button nose, what could he say-… he couldn’t help it; “So are you but I think I should warn every person you meet because you have a tendency to be the opposite of what people expect you to be” before thinking that was a bad thing to say and wanting to cover his bases and confirming with her; “That doesn’t mean that’s a bad thing by the way I just meant that people see you as one way and then you are another way-…” 

Perhaps her house wasn’t the best house, or it wasn’t the tidiest, it was small, there was one bed, and the bed didn’t exactly have a bedroom, but her apartment was her home, and she was proud of where she lived, even if it wasn’t what someone might consider being “nice”. “I mean you aren’t wrong, Teddy Bear is my favourite thing to call you because you’re the best Teddy Bear I’ve ever had. The only one actually. Except for the one you gave me that one time.” She wrinkled her nose and giggled, there was something about being booped on the nose that just brought out her happy giggles. “What you mean I’m not always the most innocent little person you’ve ever met? I dunno what you mean. I’m always innocent.” She said with a little smirk, leaning in to kiss his cheek. “I mean, most of the time.”

Some people were really confident in their looks and some just weren’t. Teddy was one of those people but he didn’t really find himself all that fussed especially since he wasn’t the one that had to look at his face all the time; “Well I think on the way home-… we might need to get you some glasses.” a soft smile on his lips as she made him feel calm and at ease finding that his part time stutter disappeared though came to light when nervous; “Safe would be a good idea-… besides they aren’t mine-… borrowed them so it’s more important i keep them in the best condition possible-… oh, you were joking. Ha, right. I knew that” his hand going behind his neck; “I will get better at that I promise”

Lola couldn’t help it, there was just something about Teddy that made her happy, she wrapped her arm around his waist and laughed lightly, he really was so cute. “Fortunately for me, I have perfect vision so I don’t need to get my glasses, because I can see just jut fine how cute you are Teddy Bear.” For as calm as she wanted to make him, she also wanted to see him squirm even if it was just a little bit, it wasn’t as fun if he got too comfortable with her. “You’re really sweet you know? I’m sure it hasn’t been easy dealing with me and all of my issues, but thank you for being my Teddy Bear when I really needed you to be there more than anything.” Maybe she was getting a little too deep, but she needed to let him know.

There were not a lot of times that Teddy could count on his hands that a woman had touched him at all-… like there had been times where he had come close but like-… it never happened because he ran away and he ran away because of his scared he got, how intimidated he got but he had a feeling that Lola wasn’t gonna make that happen; “You do-….?-… Why?” it just didn’t make sense to him, Lola was gorgeous, she was fierce and confident and was pretty sure that she could get any guy she wanted, why was he wasting her time with him; “Cosplay? I like those, yeah I definitely want to see-… though I think the books should be okay at yours right? I doubt they would be harmed at yours-… they should be okay at yours right?” lord he was so nervous he repeated himself twice.

Lola didn’t understand how Teddy didn’t think he wasn’t attractive, it had been a while coming but now that she saw that he was it was impossible for her to think about anything else. She really wanted to see what she had been missing out on underneath all of his clothes. “Because you’re really handsome, and yes I mean that and yes you’re awake. Not dreaming. I’m serious.” She said, trying to calm his fears before he even spoke them aloud. Sure she could have seen it a long time ago, but she wasn’t exactly in the frame of mind to see it then. “No, your books will be in great danger, they might get a little dust on them... Or they might get read, you know books and me have a great danger of being read. But I think we can keep them safe.”

Was this a dream? Was he asleep right now? Like he didn’t have these dreams but look it was very possible that he was growing up and that he was very much experiencing one of those dreams that he had read up that affected his pants friend so much more then he really wanted too. Hearing her voice, the way her lips around those syllables, the breath breathing down the side of his neck, it made his strands stand on end but in a good way as he trying to come up with a response that would make sense but it started to come out and then didn’t at the same time; “I-…. umm-… you w-want to do that-…” his hands shoving into his pockets as he rocked on his feet. He had known Lola for a long time and by god he fancied the woman so much but she was so much older then him and like-… why would she like him? No this was definitely not real; “Could you p-pinch me? I’m not sure if I’m awake right now like are my eyes open?”

Lola was sure that he would have combusted if she had of touched anywhere near his dick at that point, but that had to be a good thing, she could see the hair rising on the back of his neck and she let her lips brush over his earlobe. "Oh. I very much do want to do that. I want to show you how much I like you and appreciate you, Teddy." She said, a soft chuckle forming as she pinched his cheek. "You're awake. Your eyes are open. Besides, I have a new Cosplay I want you to see. I think you might appreciate it." She tucked her arm back into his. "You wanna take your books home before I take you back to mine to show you?"

The thing with Lola was that even though she looked sweet and innocent and don’t get her wrong, she definitely was but she was also an absolute vixen in disguise and half the time Teddy didn’t know what to do he was trying to focus on her lips that moved a million miles a minute forming and stringing words together he wasn’t even completely sure he understood but at the same time her hand had just brushed across his torso; was that intentional? if so, why was it intentional? surely it wasn’t-… but if it was-… why did she do it? What were her intentions? God his brain needed to shut up right now because if he wasn’t careful he was gonna have to leave her to go home and lock himself in his room for an hour and prayed that everything would be okay down stairs; “W-what?” his head tilting to the side not even fully sure he understood what he said; “N-no I think I’m o-o-okay-… I just umm-…’ god please blood flow don’t let him down right now; “I think it’s o-okay right now”

Lola knew that the majority of people would have confused her for someone who was overly sweet and kind, someone who was literally a ball of candyfloss, and she couldn't say she blamed them, she was after all exactly the type of person who could fit so well int that role. But Teddy's extreme confusion somewhat excited her, maybe it was a little bit of a turn on seeing him stumbling over his words and trying to make sense of what was happening. She stepped forward, leaning in to whisper in his ear. "Are you sure? I don't have to kiss your lips, maybe I could kiss you somewhere south of your waistband." Whether or not he was even going make sense of what she was saying, but it was kind of entertaining knowing that he was losing his mind because of her.

Lola was an amazing individual, she was the epitome of sunshine with her blonde curly locks and even though he swore she hated it he couldn’t help but find ‘Goldilocks’ a suitable name for her. She was just warm and comforting, sort of like your own personal sun and Teddy was really thankful for her, like during school it was like the worst time for him, having a constant rain cloud hover 24/7 but then Miss Lola would come and there was the sunshine. It gave him hope and confidence that he wasn’t the only person out there that saw he needed a hand or help that someone else did too and they could help him when he needed it most; “I don’t know how that would work but I know that sometimes I am my own worst enemy. It’s hard because I tell myself to shut up but I just don’t listen to myself?” did what he say even make sense right now? “I don’t know I think-… I am okay, but you can place it on an invisible boo-boo?” wanting to make her happy and see that smile he liked seeing on her face

There were so many times in her life where she needed her own teddy bear, her own person who made her feel like she was safe and secure, who she could really just go to when she needed a hug. After essentially becoming an orphan Teddy was there, and that was what she needed at that point. It was one of the reasons she was so adamant about being nice to people, because she knew that at the end of the day when she needed the help, just as she had helped Teddy, he was there waiting for her, and that was exactly what made her happy. "Your brain just wants you to keep talking even if your brain doesn't really want to keep talking and then you trip over yourself and second guess yourself and you're suddenly in a big confusing circle." She said with a sigh, it was an assumption sure, but she felt like she knew Teddy enough. She reached a hand out, brushing it gently over his stomach. "Perhaps I need to put one here in case you hurt yourself there. Or maybe your invisible boo-boo needs to be kissed better."

Teddy wasn’t exactly your conventional male, he knew that there was a lot of competition to be that perfect ‘macho’ male but Teddy knew that he was never going to be that, for starters he was a little taller then 5ft 5 and he couldn’t bulk up to save his life which is why he was the topic and object of desire for bullying in school but he made do with what he had, as long as he was some what happy that’s all he could really ask for right now; “I think I just need to get my head out of the clouds, that would help despite the paths being even or not” he had a sharp intake of breath when she made contact with him, he was not use to being handled or touched by a female like this, and he needed to make sure he could calm himself down before that anxiety bubbled to the surface; “Oh-… umm-…. sure-….” digging into his pockets for it before realising it was in his bag; “Ummm-… it’s kind of in my-… backpack I think”

If there was one thing that Lola was sure of, it was that she would never end up like her parents, she never wanted to pick fault with anyone or be angry at anyone. The reality was that Lola would rather defend people than make them feel like they were anything less than wonderful, and that was true for Teddy as well. Perhaps people thought less of him for not being or acting a certain way, but not Lola, Lola never failed to see the wonder in him. “Oh please, don’t talk about yourself like that, you know I’ll have to defend you against yourself.” Lola would be lying if she said she didn’t like the effect she had on Teddy, something about the way his breath hitched, the way he started stumbling over his words. It was all incredibly exciting. “Okay!” She said, letting his arm go so he could find the bandaids. “Did you get a boo-boo too? I can think of somewhere to put it if you did.”

He didn’t know why he was so thankful to see a familiar face but he was, but at the same time he was so shy and so out of his element right now. Didn’t matter how long it had been since he had seen a person, he was always gonna feel that first hand anxiety when it came to seeing someone especially as pretty as Lola; “I try not to bump into people Lolapop but sometimes it just happens. You know me” and she did know him especially since they grew up with each other it was hard to ignore the presence of the other; “Are you okay? I mean are you hurt? Do you need a bandaid because I think I have one somewhere-… it might have carebears on it or something but you wouldn’t judge me right?”

Lola couldn’t help it, there was something about his rambling that just made her feel that little bit happier, and the more he started talking the bigger her smile grew. She would never know a day where she would not be thankful to Teddy, he had been the reason her bad days had good in them. “I know, especially when the paths aren’t exactly even around here huh?” She said with a happy chuckle. She reached out to tuck her arm into his. “Maybe you just need someone to hold your hand and help you navigate... Wait you have carebear bandaids? Even if I don’t have a boo-boo, can I have one of the carebear bandaids anyway?”

Oh umm-… I was just-… going to you know-…” pointing behind him; “The library-… I know I’m really lame but I just felt like reading up on a bunch of things because well there wasn’t anything interesting on my TV and well-… reading has always-…” he was talking not noticing the slight height difference in his pathway making him stumble, the books going everywhere as he ended up on the floor; “I am so-… sorry wow, are you okay?” god he felt bad. It was quick, she didn’t expect him to go tumbling, nor did she expect to feel something touch her boob. But whether it was Teddy or the books she wasn’t entirely sure, but she guessed she would know by how red he got. Lola reached a hand out to help him with the books, coming down to her knees to pick up all of his books and help him out with them, a giggle formed in the back of her throat as he kept asking if she was okay. “You already know you can bump into me any time you’d like, Teddy Bear.” She said, pulling herself back up to standing and holding out a hand to help him back up. “But I promise, I’m okay if you’re okay.”

Biography - tw: abuse, tw: murder, tw: gore

Lola was born to a pair who were very much not a good match, as a little girl she was always subjected to the sounds of her parents fighting and arguing until it got to the point where their fighting turned physical. A few times she tried to break them up, tried to stop them and tell them to be friends, but it just meant her father's anger turned to her. She was ten years old when it finally got to the point where her mother had enough and she left him, the only problem with that was that her mother refused to leave the city, meaning she would still constantly have to see him every time she went out because they were in the same town.

It was around this time that she turned to comic books to hide from the pain of knowing what her reality was. They were cheap enough that she could steal five dollars from her father's wallet and he wouldn't notice they were missing. The person at the arcade recognized that the little girl coming to see whether or not they had comics as prizes probably wasn't having the best time in life, so they gave her a few comics for free when there were older ones who were about to be thrown out. She developed a massive love for the city sirens and found herself identifying with them more and more often. One of her friends helped her to buy her first cosplay outfit and she never looked back. A lot of her other cosplay outfits she discovered she can make them herself, and she's spent a long time building up her Instagram following.

Things took a turn when she came home one day to cops outside her home, her father in cuffs and covered in blood. She sprinted inside and slipped her way through the door, finding herself covered in her mother's blood. For the longest time, she sat there, totally stunned when she had seen, by what had happened, it wasn't until an officer was helping her up and bringing her back outside did she even realize what had happened. Her first thought right after what had happened was to run to her friend, the same one who had helped her into her first cosplay outfit, she just really didn't know what she was going to do after everything. But it was done for her, she was told she was going to stay with another family in the city, one who had training in helping people get through trauma like this.

When she turned 18 she moved out of that house and into a tiny apartment in the middle of the city. She went to get a job at the arcade, the only thing that really needed something was the snacks, so she took the job on and she really did take to it like a duck to water, finding it to be an incredibly enjoyable job and she found a lot of excitement in working at the arcade as it really was one of her favourite places. She also uses her skills with Cosplay to make some money as well, but she keeps up her Instagram following as well.

immediately, abel regretting taking the short cut through this park on his morning run. there were some early rising mothers that used the paths around here to jog with their strollers and so he sprinted past them and into the actually park to get to the street. he’d be sticking with his usual route from now on. “-um?” abel couldn’t help it, confused and intruiged by the adult on the play structure. this was dayton so he immediately assumed that she was high or intoxicated - maybe even both. “you good there blondie?”

Lola heard the other coming before she even saw them, she sat up a little, pulling herself up to sitting in the middle of the spinner, it was hard not to laugh as she realized that it wasn't, in fact, a kid who had caught her out on the playground but another adult. "I'm mostly good... Tired, but good... but that being said... I'm more tired... Than anything else." She said, her sentences being cut off with each time she made another rotation to face the other. "Need to slow down... Maybe hurl but I don't think so... Want some candy?"

Aurora was feeling adventurous, as per usual. Trying her best to avoid certain family members (yikes), she wanted to see if she could meet some new faces today or get into some trouble. Sure. maybe she should be laying her head low, considering she had just spent the night in jail only a few days ago. But, what was the fun in that? Parking her car at a park she had yet to explore, she was excited to see that this one had a fucking playground! A freshly rolled blunt in her hand, she found an empty swing set and swung on it. Her blue eyes quickly spotted someone on the opposite side of the park. Letting out a laugh, it seemed like they were having a good time on the dizzy-maker. 

“Hey, is that any fun?” she called out to the curly haired girl. Perhaps she could be a new friend, she was always up to meeting new people in this crazy little town. 

Lola really had been trying to avoid most of the people she knew, she didn't know why but being slightly high, a little hungover, and a lot dizzy wasn't the best combination when it came to meeting up with people she actually knew. It wasn't like she didn't want to talk to people, she was just used to being home at this time and right now she wasn't at home. The spinner was slowing down, but this time she didn't push it again. She was ready to be done with it if she was being honest. She looked up when she heard a voice, pushing herself to sit up and drop a foot down to slow herself faster. "Yeah, it is! Even better when you have edibles." She said, holding up her bag, noticing the blunt before she had mentioned it.

There had been a lot of things that had happened for Posey and Violet the last couple of months but one of the worst things that Posey could ever imagine was a break in that had seen her have a gun held in her direction, Violet with a tape on her mouth and bound at the head board as well as their over all belongings just strewn across the floor and some broken beyond repair. Even though Posey got her way with begging Vi to move from where they were located she couldn’t help but still be affected as she sat on the curb in front of her store after witnessing a scene on the TV that triggered memories of that un-fateful night her head in her hands as she allowed tears that threatened for the last 30 minutes take over “I promise I’m okay, I swear I’m okay I just-… I need a minute” feeling someone sit beside her but she wasn’t sure who she was lying too more, Lola or herself

Lola hadn't really had too much of a dramatic intro to town, she had managed to run into Astrid that was very much a good thing, it was always nice seeing someone she recognized when it came to a new town. It was even better given it was someone she knew when she was in a good part of her life rather when it was very much the worst parts. Lola watched the woman escape the store looking highly stressed, and if she was being honest she had seen people in that state before, a part of her just wanted to run over and hug her, but another part realized that was probably a really bad thing to do. Instead, she made her way over calmly and dropped down beside her, pulling out a tissue and holding it out to her. "Do you need a hug? I have candy too if you aren't a hugger, so that is kinda similar to a hug I guess."

Exercise wasn’t very high on the list of things Dylan Adams liked to do. Her steady diet of uppers and almost concerningly active sex life was enough to keep her looking like a twelve year old boy. But the new year and her quickly approaching 30th birthday, she felt like it was probably time to at least get out and walk around town more. The morning was the perfect time for her to come down from the high from the night before and walk through the park without seeing her employees or anyone who was at the club just a few hours earlier. She was pulled out of her thoughts but the sound of someone messing around in park  and when she realized it wasn’t a kid, she went over to check it out. She looked down at the girl through her sunglasses and couldn’t help but laugh lightly. “You look like you’re having fun,” she said, shoving her hands in the pockets of her jeans.

Lola had never gone running in her life, if she was honest she wouldn't want to... Ever. She was one of those rare people that were blessed with the inability to gain weight, but if she was being honest was probably from the way that she had been brought up. She still worked out, of course, she couldn't live without having some kind of muscle tone. Lola was still slightly high on edibles, but not enough to do anything she would regret, ever so slightly hungover, but not enough to feel like she was going to throw up or even feel nauseous. She pushed herself up to sitting when someone talked to her and she nodded, her curls bouncing as she did. She pulled herself to the edge to put her feet down and bring herself skidding to a stop in front of the other, waiting for a second until her head stopped spinning from the sudden stop. "It's not quite what I'd like to be doing for fun if I'm being honest, but it fills the gap."
