Davey Gudgeon, a boy often mistaken for James Potter from behind with his dark curls, not jet black like Potters, but more of a decadent dark chocolate color (according to Moony with a scent to match) bright hazel eyes and freckles that could put a Weasley to shame. A scar diagonally over his right eye from the bottom of his ear, across his cheek ending just above his eyebrow. He spent most of his Hogwarts years partially blind because the damage was too great to heal all at once. It had to be done slowly over time. By the end of his years at Hogwarts he got most of his vision back, it still goes slightly blurry on particularly chilly days though

Davey is the Gudgeon that doesn’t fit in. One would say he’s the runt of the bunch. Not cool and sarcastic like Galvin, and not outgoing and popular like Gladys. Davey is sharp, quiet, and determined to live up to his siblings. He’s the Slytherin that doesn’t belong, and is even afraid of half of his house. He figures he’s only in Slytherin by its textbook definition: cunning, resourcefulness, and ambition. Davey has these, but never flaunts them. He tries to keep an optimistic attitude despite the prejudice against him from his siblings’ crowd. Even though he’s a Slytherin, Gladys and Galvin fully know that Davey is still his awkward, clumsy self who nearly got his eye poked out by the Whomping Willow.
