Bruce: You see that reporter of there?
Danny: The one with the glasses?
Bruce: Yes. His name is Clark Kent. He can be trusted.
Danny: Okay. *Writes note down* What about the woman next to him?
Bruce: That's Cat Grant, and no, she can't be trusted. Everything you say to her will turn into a gossip-lifting, life-ruining article.
Danny: Got it. *writes more notes*
Jason, watching the two from a few feet away: Say, who's that kid Bruce is media training? Is he a new ward he took in?
Tim: No, that's Danny Fenton, the face of Fenton Works. They signed up as a sub-company of Wayne Enterprise. Originally, they were a paranormal investigation and capture company- yes, I mean ghost hunters- but it was discovered that almost all thier tech can be used on metas. Bruce wants to make medical equipment that can be used by our enhanced citizens.
Jason: I see. But why a kid so young? He's your age, right?
Tim: Hmm, apparently his parents, the owners of Fenton Works, made him CEO so they could focus on ghost hunting and the occasional meta medical machines for Bruce. He got here a week ago to shadow me for CEO training, and Bruce stole him after they met outside my office. Danny hangs onto his every word, and I think Bruce forgot what it was like to have a kid actually listen to him.
Jason: Ah thats makes sense. What do you think of him?
Tim: Well, he's a little naive, easy to trick, and has way too much empathy for the cold world of business. I'm gonna have him in my bed.
Jason: Ah....well that took a turn. One I do not like so I'm gonna....*walks away*
Tim: He will be ✨️mine✨️
Bruce overhears everything from the bugs he planted on his kids: Danny, go ahead and change Tim's status. He can not be trusted.
DC x DP PROMPT #12
Um Who’s that in the back?
Tucker Foley finally getting an interview with Wayne Enterprises after months of applications and networking, caffeine abuse and despite the fact that Sam thinks the Wayne’s are sketchy. Only for Tim Drake-Wayne to watch in real time as Tucker’s boyfriend sleep-floats through the background and phases halfway through an exterior wall
and Tucker just sighs like this is a regular Tuesday before sprinting off-screen yelling:
“DANNY YOU ARE LEAVING THE BUILDING AGAIN”
while Tim is sitting there like
👁️👄👁️
because excuse me?????
and it somehow gets worse because Tucker drags Danny back inside by the ankle and Danny is STILL asleep and mumbling “five more minutes” while ACTIVELY HOVERING
Tim: did he just go through the wall
Tucker, immediately: no
Sam, from somewhere off-screen: yes
Tim absolutely mutes himself because he’s laughing too hard and now he’s obsessed because WHAT do you MEAN sleep-floating???
Meanwhile Danny wakes up just long enough to realize he exposed his ghost nonsense to a Wayne and immediately hides his face in Tucker’s shoulder like a cat that knocked over a vase
and Tucker still somehow gets the internship because Tim is like “well this is the most interesting interview I’ve had all month
Prompt #31 master post
So baby-man Danny, but everyone thinks he looks Eldritch.
Not in the sense that they see him and immediately think, “That’s a Eldritch monster,” but more like they assume that’s what he must look like underneath.
Because he’s currently wearing this cute costume, kind of like Mimikyu from Pokémon.
So everyone assumes he’s this horrifying monster underneath the sort of cute-but-creepy costume, trying to hide what he truly looks like because he wants to make friends. But in truth, it’s just his Halloween costume that he never took off.
So eventually, when it does come off, they just see this cute little snake-cat-human thing.
possible career paths for me:
1. matching pearls in pairs for earrings
2. msn butterfly
that's it probably
Beautiful cow who is mooing at you
@videogamecows
COWPOST RATING: INCORRECT
that is not one of those
I WISH TO PET THEIR NOSE
Zoey: We have an announcement!
Bobby: Yes?
Rumi: Zoey, Mira, and I—
Bobby: Are getting married?
Mira: No, we—
Bobby: *pulls out binder* Sit down. I have planned out the entire thing
DPXDC prompt #67
The Batfamily has that weird bird whistles and chirping when their comms are off for some reason and as a form of coded language so enemies don't understand what they're saying.
But do you know who, or rather what, use chirping and whistles as a form of language? Ghosts.
Now imagine Danny, who is in Gotham for a field trip with his family (who has been learning Ghost Language after they found out their Danny-O is part spook), make some chirping sound in public, not paying attention, and everyone freeze.
And start looking around, waiting for the batfam jump out of the shadows out of nowhere.
DpXDc: No no no- You got the wrong guy
Danny inhaled through his nose, before exhaling.
"Yes- I am the God of The Dead" he hated explaining shit to people. He just wanted to finish college.
"BUT!" he stared at the Justice League who summoned him when he was studying for a REALLY important exam, "I am NOT the GOD OF DEATH!"
"That would be Derek. or Darthlok, depends. I just do all the paperwork!"
Just once, I want Danny to spout off something that he’s clearly heard from Jazz and then cringe at it.
Jason: “Just gotta wait until the Stockholm Syndrome kicks in!”
Danny: “Actually, that is a phony diagnosis created by a sexist psychiatrist who saw a hostage situation on TV and decided that the woman, in fight-flight-fawn mode, was in love with the man waving a gun at h-"
Jason: *raises eyebrow*
Danny, realizing: "Oh, you meant it as a joke… Ancients, I sounded like Jazz there.” *shudders*
Dick, exasperated: “Monkey see, monkey do, after all…”
Danny, eating a snack: "Actually, monkeys mimic behavior as a form of communication and survival, while the so-called Chameleon Effect is influenced by a desire to fit in and be liked by the people around us. It's also influenced by a part of the brain that certain- *pauses* *pushes snack away* And that was super fucking weird to bring up all of a sudden, sorry, what were we talking about?" *face screwed up in disgust*
Dick: *is just amused*
Damian, angry enough to turn red: "-I will eviscerate you so much that even your mother would be disgusted by your incompetent-"
Danny, off to the side and kinda zoned out: "Did you know that excess violence in teenagers, while typically attributed towards early childhood development by those around the teenager, is almost always caused by their current situation and a feeling of estrangement, lack of control, or- wow, yea, okay, I'm shutting up now, I just realized what I sounded like. Uegh."
Damian, suddenly calm: "You bring up a valid point, Daniel. Come, make your argument in front of father. Please."
Tim: "I'll sleep when I'm dead; for now, there's coffee."
Jason: "That shit stunts your growth, pipsqueak."
Danny: "That was actually debunked. What coffee does do is it blocks your adenosine receptors and enhances your dopamine signaling, increasing your mood and motivation as well as enhancing your memory, and then it also improves your attention and alertness. However, it also increases your anxiety and sleep disturbances, which can mess up your memory consolidation and brain recovery." *makes a disgusted face* *shudders* *takes a sip of an energy drink* "Anyways, ignoring all that nonsense that I'm definitely ignoring that I've accidentally memorized, sleeping when you're dead is also a myth. I would know." *chugs energy drink*
Tim, despairing with a tight grip on his coffee: "Nooo, I was relying on that!"
DPxDC idea #3
The DC universe has its own Danny Fenton.
The problem?
He's dead.
Dead.
The portal accident killed him years ago. The Fentons buried their son, mourned him, and somehow managed to move on.
Then a dimensional breach brings Danny Phantom from another universe into the DC Universe.
At first, nobody notices anything strange. The Justice League just sees another teenage meta helping during crises. But eventually reporters get clear footage. Facial recognition software finds a match.
Danny Fenton.
Deceased.
The boy buried years ago.
Now Maddie, Jack, and Jazz are forced to watch news reports of their dead son flying alongside heroes, So they chase him wanting answers.
And Danny is stuck trying to explain something impossible:
"No, I'm not your Danny."
The worst part?
Nobody believes him.
Because how do you tell grieving parents that their son really is dead... and you're just an alternate-universe version who happened to survive?
I think this would be an interesting way for this prompt from my blog to end up...
Sorry if this is intrusive. I just like the idea of combining them.

So most crossovers I've seen with Danny Phantom and Kim Possible has Danny befriending or crushing on Kim who is either similar age or older. What if, however, you had Danny be of the same age as Shego?
We know that Shego was once a hero alongside her brothers and we can speculate it was in her teens up until she became an adult and got her degree for teaching. So what if in that time she met a fellow teenaged superhero that she could befriend and snark about teenage stuff with?
Easy scenario to set things up: the three vulture ghosts decide working for Vlad isn't so great so they quit and decide to work for Avarius, Team Go's bird themed villain. SheGo and her brothers have a hard time dealing with the ghosts until a certain white haired Phantom shows up after tracking them down. Danny and SheGo instantly bond and become friends with snarking as their love language. Danny crushes on her but tries t play it cool. SheGo teases him, though hides the fact she probably likes him, too.
They take turns visiting each other and hangout. SheGo (I'd probably have her real name be Sheila) becomes just as much part of the Fenton family as Tucker and Sam. Meanwhile at Go City HeGo doesn't necessarily like Danny because of his former bad reputation as public enemy number one, even though that label stopped being relevant after saving Amity Park numerous times.
Unfortunately, Danny and the Fenton's good influence isn't enough to dissuade SheGo from the pull of villainy and she suddenly disappears, ghosts (ha) both Danny and her brothers. Danny is heartbroken and feels somewhat betrayed; I haven't thought of the exact scenario and circumstances yet. He gets his degrees in engineering and starts working for a Dr. James Possible in Middleton. She goes full villain and starts working for Dr. Drakken.
Eventually, Drakken needs some tech that can only be found at one place: FentonWorks. SheGo tries to bow out but reluctantly goes in comes face to face with one Danny Phantom.
Phantom: Been a while, Shelly
SheGo: Spooky.
Drakken: I'm obviously missing something her; do you know him, SheGo?
SheGo; Dr. D, not now...
Public Enemy
We know from "Public Enemies" to "Reign Storm", Danny was seen as a villain to the general public. Before he would deal with ghosts and only a handful of people saw him at a time, mostly the kids at school. After Walker's invasion, not only was he made fully public to not just the city but possibly the outside world, but he also was framed as a villain.
So in a fusion type crossover story, their should be supers, both hero and villains coming and going inside Amity Park to check out the new budding "villain". Heroes coming in to try and capture him and villains wanting to team up. Maybe a few fans wanting autographs from their new favorite villain. I know there was some of this back when there were a handful of "Danny joins Hive Academy" stories back when the Teen Titans cartoon was more popular but we need more of this, imho instead of the stories that seem to want to make Danny the perpetual victim.
Maybe a young, impressionable villainess wants to meet her celebrity crush (imagine Danny as the Bieber of the teen villain world) and Danny has to try to either get her to leave, convince her he's not a villain and/or reform her. Nothing goes well.
Professional Courtesy for Superheroes
I have a head canon that in a world where there are other heroes and Danny and his family have to cross jurisdictions to catch a ghost outside of Amity Park that Danny would extend some professional courtesy and try to contact the local hero(es) so that 1.they know that there is ghost activity in their area and 2. he (and his family if he's there with them) is there to deal with it, if the local heroes want the help. The reason Danny would do this? He's been the wrong end of bad press and suspicion in his career as a hero and he just wants to be honest and upfront to other heroes as possible to prevent any misunderstandings. Whether this actually works in practice, however...
To continue this into a more concrete story, Danny has to go to Gotham to handle some ghost shenanigans. I would set this up as the summer after Reality Trip where he actually let his parents keep their knowledge of his identity. He's going with Maddie (Jack is home sick and Jazz is taking care of him) for an official FentonWorks job. Danny, not wanting to run into any misunderstandings, decides to go out and find Batman to explain that he is there on business to give him advanced warning because he wants to be courteous and not cause trouble on another hero's turf.
Batman is off on League business so instead he bumps into Spoiler. I'm thinking post fired from being Robin Steph but right before she "dies". Spoiler decides to help to try and prove herself after being fired from being Robin. Eventually Cass and Tim tag along. Shenanigans ensue.
Phantom Professor at Titans Academy
So I have the Teen Titans cartoon stuck in my brain 20 years later and I had an idea of older versions of those characters starting a Titans Academy to train the next generation of teenage superheroes. Dani joined the Titans ages ago on her journeys to they know about ghosts and how tricky they can be so Nightwing decides they need a course on ghosts. Dani declines to teach it because she's too much of a free spirit but she does recommend Danny. Not Danny Phantom, the ghost hero who pretty much stays in Amity Park but Dr. Danny Fenton, who has survived high school and college and doesn't quite know yet what to do with his life.
Danny thought his life was weird enough with dealing with ghosts but he was in for a surprise when he found his parents entertaining some Titans in their living room they were waiting for him to come home with a job opportunity. Everyone in his family talks him into taking the job, which he does so reluctantly.
Not Danny has to deal with upstart teenager with powers who want to make it big and he and the other teachers have to teach them the skills they wished they knew when they started out. Everyone in Danny's class clocks that he was probably a teen hero but no one knows which one and there is a running betting pool as a result.
"He has to be a Robin or something!"
"Are there any teenaged ghost fighting heroes out there that he could be?"
"The Phantoms but that can't be right since Dr. Fenton obviously isn't dead."
"I'm telling you he wass the second Robin after Nightwing!"
There is a second pool on how long it will take for Danny to ask Raven out, since they work together on some overlapping classes and the kids see the obvious sparks.
I need more ideas for students for Danny. So far I have the original members of Peter David Young Justice comics: Kon, Bart, Tim, Cassie and Cissie. Maybe Anita and some of the new additions like Ginny. They hide Secret in their dorms because Dr. Fenton is a ghost hunter from a family of ghost hunters and they are afraid of what he'll do when he finds her. What he does is swiftly enroll her to his class and becomes her mentor so she can learn to use her powers.
This instantly makes Danny their favorite teacher.
A Haunting at Wayne Manor
So as far as I know, unless DC has retconned it, Alfred has been dead in the comics for a while. So this story idea is simple: what if he Mr. Pennyworth still is taking care of Wayne Manor?
It took a bit of time before the BatFamily realized something was off. It wasn't that details that the Wayne family butler was in charge of were left untouched; its that they we kept up with despite him no longer being with them. Supplies were resupplied, clothes cleaned, rooms kept dust free and spotless. Snacks Alfred was known for still kept showing up in cookie jars and cupboards. Fingers were pointed amongst them but no one took credit for the housekeeping; they were all too busy with the mission to have time to do was done behind the scenes like Alfred had done.
After they realized it wasn't one of their own, the quickly suspected an intruder, but that thought was unsettling, because it wasn't just Wayne manor that was touched but the Bat Cave as well. It was frightening to think someone with intricate knowledge of their double lives was infiltrating their home just to cook and clean and organize bat gadgets for them. Which only lead to one other conclusion: the manor's housekeeper hadn't quite left their midst.
It was Stephanie who made the suggestion: one young man who she shared a few classes with in college had mentioned that his parents were ghost hunters and he had dabbled in studying ghosts and spirits himself. After doing a number of background searches on one Daniel J Fenton and much deliberating, Bruce decided to have him at least look around the manor to find out once and for all if Alfred's ghost haunted the halls...
Still working the kinks out of this protostory but the idea has been stuck in my head for a bit. This is part of a series of ideas I have for Danny Fenton going to college to try and get away from ghost shenanigans long enough to earn a degree. The only problem is that he still runs into ghost shenanigans.
