Rant on baltimore protests

Holy shit I am so sick and tired of the “mob mentality” on tumblr regarding the Baltimore riots. Why do people think its okay to lash out and act violent and call it “protesting”. Yes I understand police brutality is an issue, and I am all for the justice for Freddie Gray. But is this seriously how people want to go about this? Destroying, looting public property, all of which will be payed to fix out of your own hard earned tax dollars? At this point I believe there are true protestors who do mean no harm and want rightfully protest, but there are these other people who are taking advantage of the situation to cause mayhem, that is not acceptable. On top of all of that I see people believing everything on tumblr without even checking sources to see if it is false. Like that poor "drunk redhead" woman whom was accused of stealing from a black guy. That post has 80 000 notes and its completely false, theres more than enough evidence to support that, send me a message if you would like sources. But seriously "a woman is trying to steal a pink handbag from a black guy? Seriously? 80 000 of you believed that? Its not only the media which can produce lies but everyone as well, as long as they can make a story out of it. This whole situation is truly fucked, even Freddie Gray's family is condemning the violence. /End Rant
