Buck!ghost (since iām leaning into the transformed predator) started having symptoms once he killed Romba or more accurately AS he was killing Romba. Now if you want to make it like price was there while this was happening (like Giras monster au which holy i love and still sad to see it end) you can more so say that Price was the one who originally clocked something was wrong.
But you want to say he was by himself Laswell would probably be the first one to clock an issue with him. Heās more silent than usual leaning into his callsign more than ever, Heās having trouble eating. Which may not be very weird except the issue is heās having trouble eating greens and vegetables so far as so heās puking it up because his stomach canāt stand it (hehehe tokyo ghoul reference kinda) everyone doesnāt understand how- i mean heās a literal dear. but now heās starting to stare with a look in his eyes, drooling a bit as he stares at necks or someoneās abdomen as he spots them during workouts. At one point he accidentally bit someone because the urge got so bad and yatta yatta price finds out, so and so, finds him eating someone (cannibal buck!ghost? š) and it goes to however you like
Priceghost but Price is a creature that is human but at the same time not. Itās the same situation as buck!ghost but he becomes ghosts crutch until ghost can control himself. eventually they become attached at the hip (til soap and gaz come) and even going as far as price being ghosts main food source

One) the concept of him being presented as a deer shifter, only for him to start showing symptoms of something being Very Wrong over a period of time is cinematic as fuck. He's just an odd guy anyways, everyone always says. A deer shifter in the SAS, one that has been to hell and back, one that has earned the name of Ghost. Yeah this dude's weird.
But then he starts staring at people a lot more. He stops gathering greens and fruits on his plate, he even goes so far as to gag when presented with a nice salad.
Then the bite happens. It doesn't really do any damage, he had his mask on and didn't have the best angle to chomp down on the poor guy's bicep.
Its just all downhill from there, the truth about what Roba did to him comes out full force, and Price is left to deal with the consequences.
Two) a toxic relationship based on cannibalism? Absolutely sign me the fuck up. Price being a thing that regenerates quickly, just willingly sacrificing parts of himself for Ghost to have a meal. One day going so far as to let Ghost eat directly from him, skipping the middle part of cutting something off for him.
