A bit of Snowbaz 🧡 I can’t wait to find out what happens to Simon, Baz and co. in Wayward Son! I’ve been meaning to do a Carry On illustration for ages and seeing the WS cover reveal, I just couldn’t help myself.

Happy Friday! (Or, friends across the pond, Saturday!)

A number of you might have already read @carryonsimoncarryonbaz‘s wonderful “Play the Game” fic, featuring Simon and Baz playing board games all day long (to Baz’s immense irritation) until Simon caps off the day with a game of Twister that ends… Well, you can guess how it ends. 😂

Because CSCB wrote this fic for me as a gift (she knows my husband and I are avid board gamers), I was so touched and tickled, I couldn’t resist drawing a scene from it. 

And then, because I’m in the middle of inks for the Manu prologue, I figured I’d use this picture as an opportunity to practice the color technique for my webcomic/graphic novel (which, as I think you can tell, involves a different coloring technique than what you usually see from me). 

Here’s what it looked like before it was colored:

So yeah, with this little Snowbaz fanart, you’ve now got a bit of a sense of what Manu’s interior pages are going to look like. Good times all around. :D

Hello there! I read Carry On years ago, but for some reason, I never painted these boys?!?!? Anyway, sweet and lovely Simon and Baz <3 I have a couple portrait of them coming up so stay tuned!
