Well, lemme go down the list.
-no paragraph separation: A little bit annoying, but I'm quick to get used to. No problem.
-creator chose not to use archive warnings: Dangerous. Concerning. I will probably pass unless it's a really good concept. Does not upset me tho.
-tags used as a stream of consciousness: This is fun. I enjoy it. I enjoy doing it alongside the regular tags sometimes. If there are no normal tags I will probably pass, but it is not upsetting.
-excessive notes: Maybe a little bit closer to home. It depends. If I really like the authors style I might enjoy reading their notes. If there are other issues (like grammar) going on in the story it will be annoying. Also, the more mature you behave the more I tolerate lots of notes.
-self deprecating stuff: yeah sorry this one does upset me. When it's too much, it's too much. I feel bad for the writers who feel that way, but I can't really process how you hate yourself on top of just trying to enjoy the story and be immersed in it.
-a huge block of tags: This is one that will genuinely keep me scrolling. But SPECIFICALLY if it's the pairings tags that are excessive. I don't need to know all of these characters interact JUST SHOW ME THE STORY OKAY-
-Not marked as complete: Okay, I usually only read complete works, but it's not a major turn off in and of itself. Just not something I go looking for.
-something in the ratio of notes: yeah, maybe if the comments are enormous and the kudos are low, it gives me pause. Sometimes it's a good thing, other times it's just five or so people having full blown life cafe parlors below. Also with the choose your own adventure stories doing this in general puts me off.
-Grammar issues: Depends. Are you someone who is learning English? You will probably have some of the strangest but most beautiful descriptions and dialogue in the world. Chefs kiss. Are you an adult native speaker who is writing sentences I have to reread like five times to understand who did what? Difficult. Read more books before writing.
-punctuation/capitalization issues: No big deal. Next.
-contradicting tags: Haven't really ever seen this but I imagine it would actually intrigue me.
-really long titles. Like "can you even call this a hotel? I didn't get a mint on my pillow or anything" long that also don't really say much and are capitalized weird.
-likewise, descriptions that say too little about the story with a bunch of tags.
-alternatively, an extra long description that is probably just a snippet of dialogue or else literally anything but describing the story is annoying.
-and I haven't really encountered many no tags, but I imagine that would be a big turn off.
So final decision would be A HUGE BLOCK OF TAGS yayyyyy
