You find the photo you like, and crop it to 100x100 or whatever dimension you actually want. Here’s the 100x100 icon I’m going to use:

hm, well. im not very much different from others. But, I’ll share on how I make them.

You find the photo you like, and crop it to 100x100 or whatever dimension you actually want. Here’s the 100x100 icon I’m going to use:

You have it cropped, saved, and now open it up again.

What you really need to look at is your layers here, it’s preferable to put everything starting now into a group.

the thing that’s SQUARED, thats all the effects, and stuff to mess around to make the icon you way you want it. THIS IS ALL ON HOW NICE YOU THINK IT LOOKS. 

you’ll get this long list here, and of course some isn’t available right now, but you can start with whatever. Again, this is YOUR OWN PERSONAL TASTE. I’ll go ahead and fill in mine.

After a while, here’s what I have stored. 

ADDING THE BORDER.

You can make your own border, or download some that’s already out there. 

annnnd all you gotta do is SAVE it AS A .PNG OR ELSE IT WONT BE TRANSPARENT
