So yes this is Xan btw, still @kaistrosity because i managed to haul that user over! My actual account (changed to @kaistrosityy a few minutes ago) was just fucking hacked or something. (This is my old side blog)
I don’t think a lot of people got to see my post about this but yeah i got a dm from somebody i followed, seemed to be a real ninjago fan account so i fucking fell for it—saying they accidentally reported me and made their friends report me and i needed to contact someone from tumblr support through discord to have it fixed.
I only sniffed it out when that motherfucker on discord started asking for my real name and tumblr password and shit like that but i’d already done something in my account by then so it was too late.
Well. I’m extremely relieved i saved my user cause i’m really attached to it, and managed to take screenshots of my unanswered asks, but this still fucking sucks because that account meant a lot to me. Really hope i’ll be able to find all my moots again, I’m going to tag some people from who i can find. I’d really really really appreciate it if you could reblog this!! 😞

I’m not sure if they’re the person who scammed me or if they’re a victim as well but just so people know.
EDIT: now been informed person above indeed also had their account hacked. So not the fault of the real original owner of this account but still block this user!
The message above was a little longer than this but i didn’t manage to screenshot it and i now can’t access it anymore. It was basically repeating the same thing i think, to contact that guy on discord or whatever.
I did. You don’t need to read this whole text wall but it looked like this:
Basically they told me to change the email of my account and then asked for literally all of my irl info—then started threatening me with my account when i didn’t immediately give it, at which point my common sense kicked in again. And then i was immediately blocked.
I have literally no idea why i thought this was legit, i just was mostly in a panic over my account. Which is exactly what they were trying to accomplish obviously.
The moral of this story, boys, gals and non-binary pals, is that the only one you can trust on the internet is reddit, and reddit alone.
As you can see in the first ss, this discord user is ari_levine2 . DO NOT EVER add this account on discord!!! And always always check google/reddit before you respond to anything like this at all… 😐 be safe gang. Don’t be stupid like me.
