The worst part is that it was broad daylight and also that this was 3 different people, 3 different teams, all in a row. :^)

Don’t let them gaslight you into thinking you should belittle your own struggles. You have been through too much to pretend it’s all okay. It wasn’t okay. Nothing about what happened will ever be okay.

Okay, here’s the thing about childhood sexual abuse. So many survivors look back on it and think “Why didn’t I do more to stop it?”, “Why didn’t I say no?”, “Why didn’t I tell anyone?”, “Why didn’t I understand that it was wrong?” But the thing is, you’re thinking about those situations with your current understanding of the situation. You forget that as a kid you didn’t know the stuff you know now. You didn’t understand the situation the way you do now. You’re trying to apply a more adult comprehension to your childhood mind, and that’s just not accurate. You didn’t know, and that doesn’t make it your fault. It doesn’t mean you wanted it. It doesn’t mean you failed. It doesn’t invalidate your abuse. It doesn’t make you a bad survivor. You were a child and what happened to you is 100% on your abuser(s).

Stop Saying that girls are “Delicate”, “soft” “Kind”, “Loving”, “sweet”, “Caring”, whatever.

Just know that MEN can Also be like women. They can be: • Vulnerable • Emotional • Weak • Small • Kind • Polite • Respectful • Loving • Caring • Support People of all Kind • Can Cry • Be Depressed • Have Mental Illness • Be victims of Rape & Abuse • and many, MANY more.

Please stop with the stupid stereotypes, and Be Realistic. Stop saying that Women are soft & stop saying that Men are meant to be Stronger than them.

It finally happened. Catfish on MTV finally caught the 40-year old guy we all worried about that was actually pretending to be a hot-shot 25-year old. The latest episode presented by Nev and Max with Ari a young woman from L.A.

After seasons and seasons of Catfished individuals coming face to face with either the person in the picture or the person who looked nothing like their picture… the duo finally caught… well we’ll allow Max to explain: “Since we’ve been making this show, every girl or guy that’s ever been in Ari’s place fears that they’re talking to some mid-40-something-year-old man who’s sad, sitting home in his crusty boxers, typing into the computer,” he said. “And you’re that guy. We finally met you. And that sucks for you, but it also sucks even more for Ari and all the other girls whose time you wasted.”

As strange as it seems it took 6 seasons to find the older individual to pop up from all of the horror stories we were told as teenagers or watched about on Dateline.
