Can we appreciate for a minute that Harry asked for TWO tickets to Elton John’s concert?? Right after that whole discussion about having literally no one in his life outside of Kingsman??? Well guess what’s gone???? Kingsman. EGGSY IS LITERALLY THE ONLY PERSON LEFT IN THE WHOLE GODDAMN WORLD THAT HARRY CARES ABOUT HARRY IS TAKING HIM TO THE CONCERT ITS CANON DAMMIT
Five times Jakes was wrong, and one time he wasn’t.
So I'm watching Merlin and I'm quickly learning the plot of every episode:

The King: Gaius help
Gaius: it's magic
The King: impossible
Gaius: it's magic
The King: fine *sentences someone to death*
Merlin: talks to dragon
Dragon: talks about destiny in riddles
Merlin: ignores dragon
Merlin: I won't let this happen
Arthur: (to king) Maybe this isn't fair idk
The King: it is
Arthur: ok
Morgana: Arthur do the right thing
Arthur: ok *appeals to the king*
The King: ignores him
Arthur: I will do the right thing anyway! and Merlin will help me!
Merlin: no
Merlin:
Merlin: *helps him and also saves Arthur's life probably*
The King: wow Arthur u were right who knew
before and after Neverland
the first (S1E2) and last (S3E10) time X Company’s team was aboard the aircraft.
Why would Moriarty "play gay" to try to catch Sherlock's attention if SHERLOCK ISNT GAY
*sits up in bed at 2am*
Fucking Colin, man.
“You don’t think about something for long enough, you think you’ve forgotten.”
breaks my heart everytime.
Eurus' eyes counteract with the theory that The Final Problem is all in John's mind. The last thing John would have seen would have been Eurus with a gun just before she shot him. John would have to then imagine a little girl that he has never seen before. He would have to imagine Sherlock and Mycroft imagining a little Eurus. He would also have to imagine a Eurus within Sherrinford. But John doesn't know what Eurus actually looks like so he pictures Eurus looking different twice. When Eurus is little he pictures her with hazel eyes and light brown hair cut in a bob with bangs. When Eurus is older he pictures her to have long dark hair with icy blue eyes. The last thing John sees before falling into a trance is Eurus with one contact in and one contact out: one eye blue and one eye brown. John doesn't truely know what Eurus looks like so he has to use his imagination to picture her. Theory thought up w/ @sick-pineapple and @johnholmescouldwork.
I Love You
The coffin in The Final Problem could be metaphorical for John burying his feelings for Sherlock deep inside of himself. Sherlock smashing this up can then be perceived as John’s insecurities telling him that he doesn’t feel the same way back, he literally imagined Sherlock telling someone else he loves them because John sees himself as little other than a distraction.
John Watson would then be battling with himself and the only person that could save him would be Sherlock. Sherlock just doesn’t know that yet.
Mycroft & Moftiss Mirroring
Sherlock states in The Final Problem that he is starting to question Mycroft’s intelligence. He says he’s starting to think that Mycroft isn’t as clever as he makes out. The Sherlock Fandom seem to be thinking the same but about Moffat and Gatiss rather than Mycroft.
You’re all doubting Mofftiss like Sherlock doubted Mycroft. Moffat and Gatiss are doing this deliberately - they want us to think like we are. They’re writing their own suicide just like Mycroft did in order to save John. Instead they’re doing this to save themselves later on.
This is all part of their plan; the game is on and we’re all still playing.
Friends v. Family
The scene where Eurus tasks Sherlock with the decision of John or Mycroft shows how inquisitive she really is; she’s challenging Sherlock in an attempt to see if he still values his friends over his family. When they were children she felt as though Sherlock was pushing her aside, his own sister, for a friend. She wanted to know if his values had changed. So when Sherlock initially chose to shoot Mycroft, his brother, in order to save John Watson, she felt betrayed all over again. She mentioned that Moriarty knew he’d make this choice but she still wanted to test it, as though she had hoped it wasn’t so. Eurus wanted to see if Sherlock had changed and when she thought she saw he hadn’t her faith in him dropped. Eurus saw the past repeating itself and Sherlock didn’t even realise.
guuys! @johnholmescouldwork, @sociopathicsherlock and me just came up with some kind of an upgrade and a proof for John’s agony theory, or just another one plot hole, who knows that was spotted that an adult Eurus (2 pic) has grey-to-blue eyes, as all Holmes do, but when the child-Eurus has brown-to-hazelnut eyes(1 pic). that seems strange, we guess and then we remembered that the last thing John could have seen were Eurus’s eyes, which were different (3 pic) - one were brown and another one grey. that’s interesting, isn’t it? in his agony John mixes things up whether her eyes are ome colour or another, bc the last thing he saw were different coloured ones… (if u guys wanna add smth, i would be glad, bc more likely i missed smth)
Why the title of “The Final Problem” implies a secret 4th Episode of Sherlock Series 4.
If you’ve paid any attention to the names of BBC Sherlock episodes you would have realized Moffat and Gatiss either name them because of historically-relevant plot points to Sherlock Holmes or twist Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s original titles to fit their new adaptations.  For example, “A Study in Scarlet” became “A Study in Pink”, “A Scandal in Bohemia” became “A Scandal in Belgravia”, “The Empty House” became “The Empty Hearse”.  Now, “The Final Problem” is the only episode that doesn’t follow these rules – that’s the original name for it and they kept it. Why would they choose to do that now? Why would they break their rule now?
Because Moffat’s “The Final Problem” isn’t an adaptation – it is a literal, real-life translation of the original work.
So what happened during the creation of “The Final Problem” back in Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s day?Â
Doyle was “tired” of writing Sherlock Holmes stories so he killed Sherlock in order to never write any more ever again.  He killed the story so Sherlock Holmes would never survive as an entity.  You can’t come back after “The Final Problem” – Doyle was fine with that.  He purposefully tanked his own creation and left readers devastated.  But that wasn’t the end of Sherlock Holmes.  Eight years later Doyle picked up the pen and wrote more Sherlock stories because the viewers demanded he do so. Â
Do you see it now? History is repeating. There’s nothing new under the sun. Â
Moffat and Gatiss knew there would be public backlash if they purposefully tanked their own show – which they did.  Even now after the small amount of public interaction these men have had, they’re stoking the flames, saying outrageously hurtful things to rile up the audience. Have you seen the critiques of this episode?  Public opinion is at the lowest its ever been for such a masterful show.  This is all on schedule.  Remember, “It’s not a trick, it’s a plan”.
They’re making us beg for Sherlock to return, just like those people in Victorian England when their series unexpectedly ended with “The Final Problem”.  All hope was lost, they were told it was the end, but it wasn’t.  The stories revived.  The legend continued.  This is happening again, right on schedule.Â
They just couldn’t help naming the episode “The Final Problem”.  They saw the genius in what they were doing and used Doyle’s title for an episode that does not follow the original narrative at all but follows the literal construction and fallout of the named story.  They took the original title but not the original content – because the title is symbolic. History is repeating itself.Â
“The world turns, nothing is ever new.”
🌸 this makes so much sense they're so smart 🌸
Queer people deserve explicitly queer media. Not up in the air, unconfirmed queerbaiting….
guuuys, can we wait until sunday before we make these posts, please? you’re grieving much earlier than you have to when you might not need to grieve at all
Agreed. If it’s still trash on Sunday with some lame ambiguous ending, then we’ll all grieve together. Until then, it’s not worth getting upset over because the story I heard is absurd. Like, honestly hilariously bad; I hope that version is an extra on the blu-ray.
They didn’t hype this season up to be incredible, the fruition of everything they’ve been planning from the start, the time when all the chickens come home to roost… and then screen it without making people sign an NDA. You know when you don’t make people sign an NDA? When you want everyone to leak everything without repercussions. They know how TV works, they know how social media works. They gave them fake footage for the BFI footage, just like they told us in the beginning of T6T. I was already telling people early in the week that I expected whatever they showed for the screening would be entirely fake, and when I said that I wasn’t even anticipating I would hear such ridiculous details today.
Remember that they took out the Vastra/Jenny kiss in the screening for Doctor Who even when it didn’t reveal anything new about the nature of their relationship. Remember that they left the Euros reveal out of the screening for TLD. You think they just showed their whole hand at the screening for their finale? Of course not.
Come on. Literally nothing about the spoilers I’ve heard – and I heard even small details – is “history-making.” It’s not “insane wish fulfillment.” If the BFI version of TFP were real, there would be NO meaning to “if you haven’t been reading the subtext, then hell mend you.” There is NOTHING where a person would say, “I was told, but I didn’t listen.”
We wouldn’t be told in TLD that romance would complete Sherlock as a human being just to have him end up the same as ever. There would be no point whatsoever to all of Sherlock’s psychological growth if the version of TFP they aired is true.
Moffat and Gatiss didn’t decide that everyone else has been getting Holmes wrong and that they had to make their specific version before someone beat them to it because we’ve never seen Holmes with a psychotic sister. Who the hell was lining up to make that version? Where are they all allegedly getting that idea if it’s never been done before? Is there a forum for people who’ve woken up with that idea in a dream – is Cthulhu transmitting it?
There would be no reason for the elephants. There would be no reason for dressing characters like other characters all the time and all the other mirroring traits.
There would be no reason for Moffat to tell us years ago that there is a code in the drinks, and then blatantly draw attention to said code at the beginning of T6T.Â
There would be no reason for all the allusions to queer codes and romance stories.
The bits of M-theory in TAB, instead of having plot relevance or foreshadowing anything, would literally just be weirdly specific shout-outs to me personally. Why would they shout me out so blatantly if I’m some annoying Johnlocker who keeps insisting it’s canon and making their lives difficult? Why would Gatiss RT me that one time, and reply to me another, if my existence makes his life hell?
I could go on and on but I literally don’t have the time to list everything. I wrote this post in minutes, using the stuff that came to mind first.
Come on, y’all. They’re audacious liars and trolls and you expect that to have changed right at the moment they need those traits the most? They just ramped it up to 11 in order to protect their six years of secrets.
You can grieve Sunday if it turns out they’re just terrible writers. No sense in doing it now.
that’s just so good, thanq
i don't mind if they are just 'terrible writers' in the end, they made something so pure and magical and i'm glad i was part of that <3
