Just found out that the doggo playing Krypto the superdog on Titans is actually a rescue dog named Wrigley who has his own Instagram account. I'm crying, what a good boy. Worthy of many pat

Lore Olympus is absolutely chock full of tiny details and visual cues that really help add so many extra layers to the story and its characters. I could probably talk about every little detail forever, but my favorite one is the parallels drawn between Persephone and Hera.
In a Q&A, Rachel Smythe said that one of the other protagonists of the story, besides Hades and Persephone, is Hera, and I think this really comes across in the visual cues and in her relationship with Persephone.
At its core, Lore Olympus is a coming of age story for Persephone (this is also in line with the themes of the original myth). It is a journey of growth as Persephone comes into her own, proves herself to a world that treats her like a naive child and, eventually, becomes queen of the underworld. Hera has a very vested interest in helping Persephone along. She is the one that assigns Persephone to work with Hades in the underworld, forcing Persephone out of her comfort zone and priming her for the role she will take on when she eventually marries Hades (Spoilers if you live under a rock I guess)
In a lot of ways, Persephone is a protégée to Hera. We as the audience, of course, know that Persephone will become a queen like Hera, and Hera is very apparently keen on making that happen
We can see this bond between them form in a flashback scene showing Hera talking with Persephone when she was a small child. Hera comforts a very anxious Persephone, placing her crown on Persephone’s head and playfully saying she’s a queen now.
Hera, being queen of Olympus, is going to directly be someone for Persephone to model herself after as she comes into her role, and that is made apparent in the visual parallels made between them throughout the series
I also think it’s no coincidence that the fur coat Hades gifts to Persephone, the one that she treasures and is very protective about
Was originally a gift for Hera
(Also note direct comparison to Hera as well)
Hera’s importance to the story and her relation to Persephone is also made explicitly clear in that she was the first one to be clued into what Apollo did to Persephone
Right from the jump, the story establishes a relation between Hera and Persephone. The story starts as Hera acting like a guide of sorts, both actively and passively influencing Persephone’s journey, and will end up as Hera and Persephone becoming equals as Persephone comes into her role as queen.
Zeus: Guys, there’s a monster under my bed and it’s really ugly.
Hades, on the bottom bunk: Honestly, fuck you.
