The very first link is a very good and quick resource to send a letter via. I recommend you all pop in and send it, but I also want to remind anyone who sees this: be strategic.
If you talk about LGBT endangerment or human rights violations when you have Republican representatives, they will not care. In fact, claiming those things may be incentive for them to vote in favor of the bill. Instead, in your letter, focus on how the bill will require for-profit corporations to collect copious amounts of data on minors which can then be breached and sold on the dark web to the highest bidder (which could be a foreign intelligence agency). Focus on how this is “un-American censorship” and a “violation of the freedom of speech.”
Republicans aren’t going to care about the minorities that are endangered by this bill, but if you use their buzzwords and speak in their language, they might just listen. If this bill can get bipartisan support, it can get bipartisan opposition, too.
