I've seen a lot of people talk about how Superman 2025 very obviously talks about the war with Palestine.

However I would like to point out that it ALSO talks about the Ukraine and Russian war.

Boravia was very obviously made to reflect Russia, from the way the language sounded to the imagery used when showing their country; Especially with the Moscow style rooftops on the building we see Hawkgirl fly the president out of.

Jarhanpur is also very obviously made to be Palestine and show the struggles of the people caught in the war.

Superman 2025 adresses both conflicts, putting Boravia in the position of Russia/Israel ans Jarhanpur in the position of Ukraine/Palestine.

It gives such great social commentary and I am so glad that James Gunn didn't shy away from making a point about it, and designed everything to be so in your face.
