The thing that really gets me is that this is really e*riel behavior:

They literally thought a tattoo company posting a flower design was e*riel confirmation and even made a fake screenshot, then there was the tote bag situation. The company again had to come out and state the obvious that they were just making an Elain tote bag, not confirming anything. And let's not forget the Bambi sweater fiasco, where people convinced themselves that Sarah J. Maas wearing a Bambi sweater meant CC3 would feature Elain and literally so on

These are the same people who think Elain being mentioned anywhere is somehow e*riel confirmation,

yet they harass us for enjoying actual new content from the publisher. We get new information, we get excited, and somehow that's a problem?

Fandom is supposed to be about enjoying the things you love, not hating on fans who disagree with you. You see articles saying fans speculate Elain's next book is coming and immediately scream "e*riel confirmation." You really have no place saying anything 😂😂.

Honestly let's keep enjoying our ships, and they can keep hating. We'll sit back, watch the show, and wait for the titles.

Look I don't go here, okay. However, there is something very delicious about the Illyrian who hates his heritage for how he was treated and the half-fae priestess who is treated as lesser for not being high fae.

There's something extra delicious in how ready, willing, and almost desperate they are to die if it means the people they love live- as if that's the only thing about them that would make them worthy

And suddenly the same people who wrote entire essays about Gwyn’s musical imagery, her voice calming people, her singing soothing Nesta enough to reach the Harp (which saved Feyre, nyx and Rhys), etc. and desperately trying to use that musical imagery for Gwyn to show that she's a "lightsinger/siren" are now trying to pretend that imagery is not there or means nothing.

Except the text still exists and facts remain facts.

The most recent book still ends the bonus chapter Sarah hyped with Gwyn glowing deep inside Azriel and his shadows "danced" and "sang" toward her. She calmed him, even his shadows.

Sarah wrote Gwyn with the most musical imagery in her latest book.

This commission blends three of my obsessions together: Gwynriel, Mermaids and Pirates, and The Little Mermaid 💖

Doesn't Gwyn look gorgeous as a mermaid, and Azriel look dashing as a pirate? @luciaarandart really outdone herself with this STUNNING masterpiece 😍

Now, you may be wondering.. how does The Little Mermaid fit?

Well, I love the moment when Ariel gains back her voice from it being trapped in a shell, and Prince Eric is broken from the spell. Ariel then ends up turning into a mermaid and saving Eric, and vice versa. I have a headcanon for Gwynriel that, like Ariel, Gwyn's voice + her nymph side might end up being the key to saving Azriel somehow.

Happy Gwyn Day 🩵✨

Sometimes a character enters a story five books into the series and effortlessly becomes a fan favorite. Gwyn’s resilience, strength, loyalty, and charming irreverence were such a breath of fresh air. She charmed readers the same way she charmed the characters in ACOSF.

And with April as SA Awareness Month, in our community of mostly women, this hits close to home for many of us and it is so important to uplift one another. In the words of Gwyn Berdara, I am the rock against which the surf crashes and nothing can break me. We are more than what has happened to us and there is no formula or timeline for healing.
