ASSESSMENT 3: FAILURE STATES
Progress for Curated Experiment 1: The art of failed language
I started to adapt, with my friend, the script for Waiting For Godot by Samuel Beckett (if you would personally like to read the original, it’s available here) into a giant text piece. It’s working quite well, because the miscommunication on technology highlights greatly the lack of conversational presence that is a huge part of the original play. Yes, I changed my mates number to be under Vladmir. When reading the script, when we were given a facial expression, an action, or simply felt that a greater mode of expression was needed, we would insert an emoji. Eventually, I hope to completely slowly disintegrate the text into nothing but symbols.
Great work!
Finding leaves then arranging by colour for first wash, then hand cut each leaf into quarters to mix up colours to make a repetitive pattern which we then further repeated digitally through a pattern program
Great iterations, well done!
