Writing advice from my uni teachers:
If your dialog feels flat, rewrite the scene pretending the characters cannot at any cost say exactly what they mean. No one says “I’m mad” but they can say it in 100 other ways.
Wrote a chapter but you dislike it? Rewrite it again from memory. That way you’re only remembering the main parts and can fill in extra details. My teacher who was a playwright literally writes every single script twice because of this.
Don’t overuse metaphors, or they lose their potency. Limit yourself.
Before you write your novel, write a page of anything from your characters POV so you can get their voice right. Do this for every main character introduced.
This is legit good writing advice, especially the first bullet point! In playwriting class we did a bit where every bit of dialogue had to be an accusatory question and it was glorious.
Oh, Roger! 🥹🥰
queen's got so many long powerful songs, but somehow "march of the black queen" just hits the right spots in my brain. like, borhap is all good and well, it isn't popular for no reason. "somebody to love" is also a real banger, but motbq just makes my entire body experience a whole fantasy epos at once. freddie proved long before borhap he was a true master of epic songwriting.
(honorable mention: "millionaire waltz" and "it's late", also two long(er) songs that are artfully written rock and just enrich my queen listening experience. millionaire waltz being my absolute favourite of them all 🙏🏻)
This!! The Millionaire Waltz is such a beautiful song, a big part of why A Day At The Races is my favourite album of Queen. One of the songs that blew my mind when I listened to it for the first time 💗 It's Late is also an excellent song 😊
If your group has a lot of members and few costumes, the best goes to the fastest)
I am starting a new series of different sketches and want to hear about your favorites)
And, yes, if SOMEONE continues to cut and erase my signatures, I will put them on the faces of the characters.
I love these drawings so much
Roger’s smile, brighter than the sun 🌞🤍

Lovely sketches 😁!
The couple once again
You know they’re BFFs because Rog is wearing a classy jacket and collared shirt, and Bri is wearing a fucking angry birds graphic tee
Brian: ‘it’s angry, it’s got fluffy yet spiky hair, it’s wearing sunglasses - it’s you, Roger’
Roger: *throws Brian over the railings*
BFFs forever ✨

This is the best instrumental break you will ever hear in your life - White Queen live at Hammersmith, 1975
- the way brians gutar sounds like its wailing - and the way it blends with freddies piano - roger somehow making his drums have pitch and musicality and the way hes moving to the rhythm - deakys bass notes and riffs every crescendo that are so resonant it feels like youre at the odeon - the camera angles - the glam rock aesthetic - the drop when its just 4 single chords with rog killing the drum breaks inbetween - the way theyre all so into the music it feels like. a ceremony?? - the truly magnificent showcase of how fuckign good freddie is at piano - the delay pedal bri has so he can layer the guitar and the reverb ads So much depth - ive watched this 50 times by now and i never fail to forget to breathe the entire time
One of Queen’s best live performances ever. It truly demonstrated their talents and their synchronicity as a group.
sometimes I'll see a post about some discourse and just think "who the actual fuck is getting into fights about that"
Hey!! Fanelli Fest!! Day one: Domesticity!

This lot of photos have been withdrawn from the auction that's going on right now. Other items have been withdrawn as well but I can't find what they were.
I really wonder if Brian and/or Roger got them privately, I really hope so because they deserve to get back these memories of their lives 🙏🏻💕💕💕
