It’s rare to meet someone with a mind that’s just as beautiful as their face.
(anonymous)
I kissed the lips of dead rose petals and touched the cheeks of sunken ships. With an unclear mind and shaky breaths, I met you. Everything was blurry but I remembered the storm in your eyes. Pale like the summer ocean and then as dark as the midnight of December. Your hands were cold like snow but your breath was like a summer’s breeze. You were the walking definition of contradictions and I loved it. But then you turned into the ocean’s tides. Stampeding towards the shore and then running from the sand as if you got burnt. You started to float away like a bottled message thrown to sea. I begged you to stay as the salty ocean burned my eyes but you were just temporary.

Being happy doesn`t mean everything is perfect. It means you have decided to look beyond the imperfections.
Do something with your life that would make a 1950s straight white man angry
“Still, the one who best understands the significance of light is not the electrician, not the painter, not the photographer, but the man who lost his sight in adulthood. There must be the wisdom of deficiency in deficiency, just as there is the wisdom of plenty in plenty.” ― Kōbō Abe, The Face of Another
