Yet another person not adding the proper suffix to his name, but he'll let it pass. "I've been his roommate ever since he arrived here. And he's stolen money to gamble with this blonde woman, and for his needs. Also he insist of wearing my clothes."
Hashirama and Tsunade? Could not one Senju be enough to harass this poor man? "My apologies, I was unaware such actions had been allowed to continue." Not entirely false-- he knew of the money, but wearing the other's clothing?
"Has he returned the clothing, at the very least? Washed, I would hope. As for the money I will make sure it is returned to you in full."Â
"Senju Tobirama, I need to bring up some matters regarding your brother."
"If only the list of possibilities were shorter.."
"What is the issue, Kuchiki-san?"
The Senju clan was a group of shinobi that were the strongest, feared and most respected clan above all other clans in the ninja world during the war-torn era before the founding of the hidden villages. Together with their rivals â and distant relatives through a common ancestor â the Uchiha clan, they are responsible for founding the first hidden village named Konohagakure and making the village into what it is today. The clan has produced three of the five Hokage of Konoha: the First, Second, and the Fifth.
[stares at with twinkling, beady blue eyes]
"Do you want me to pet you?"
"A detailed report?" Tsunade smiled, of course he would make it sound like work for her. Though she was glad that he would like to hear about the life that she had had. Though surely, her uncle would be disappointed when he hears that she abandon the village because of all the suffering that had happened to the blonde. The princess could already hear him rambling about how they are both from the Senju clan, and they need to be a strong explain for the people that reside in the Hidden Leaf. "Of course, Iâll set up something in the near future."Â
Of course, how could have she forgotten. Both her grandfatherâs and uncleâs souls were sealed inside the stomach of the Shinigami. There could have been a sort of fear for both of them, though at the same time it was a laughable matter. Just imagining Unohana or any other Shinigami that lived here trying to seal someone inside of their stomachs. âI consider that impossible, Oji-sama. I know they are Shinigami, though I highly doubt that they have the ability to seal any humans. Donât tell me thatâs the reason why you donât engage in a romantic adventure with her, is because you think sheâll seal you in her stomach?âÂ
He was looking forward to this future conversation. There was much--Â far too much he had missed out on in his grandniece's life. Perhaps it was not his position to demand such a report, but he was only human and prone to selfishness. He'd have her talk through the night if there were stories she had to tell.
"I'm not worried that she'll eat me," he replied, sighing. The fact that he even had to say such a sentence had him questioning the seriousness of such a conversation. "But the fact remains the Shinigami are creatures best left free from man's influence. Unohana is an important figure in her world, and it know nothing of the repercussions of engaging in such actions with a human. Best to leave the dead among the dead, the living with the living, and the Shinigami to their own devices."

"Is that so?" he asked, recalling the Secondâs rather forward moves on the Mizukage on the dance floor. "Well you certainly put your best foot forward in that regard, I myself was fooled by the conclusion of the eveningâs events. I just hope your partner for the night was aware of this charade, I donât want to have to punch you should you lead her on, Nidaime-sama."
While his comment was certainly tongue in cheek, the Sage only hoped Tobirama knew as much about him as heâd alluded to in their last conversation.
"Those things aside, what intel were we able to procure? Iâd have assisted myself was I not⊠preoccupied myself."
The other's humor was not reciprocated, although the point was still valid. "The Mizukage was unaware of our motives, as I could not be certain she could deceive the Akatsuki well enough while knowing the truth. I plan on informing her though, don't worry about that." He refrained from commenting on the promise of assault-- he gave the other the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a jest.
"Sadly, the number of Akatsuki members actually present at the dance were next to zero... Therefore, the night was virtually an entire wash out.."
Fire and Water (Closed)
He went for the kill. There was no mercy here; it was as if a standoff, shoot to kill. He treated the very moment like they were on the battlefield, like she was the Uchiha he fought back in the war before treaty was made but of course, due to those harsh circumstances, she assumed he saw all Uchiha the same.
As soon as this questionâs began she knew where this was leading. They began with a filler question, something common often used for courtesy, not in this instance however, it was a trigger for the poison to be released bit by bit, each time in more potent doses. Each time he spoke, there was a stab at her heart, and she wagered he knew this full well.Â
She noticed as he spat each sentence at her, the one known as the second Hokage seemed to start having trouble holding in his anger â snap. There is was. Once his speech finally finished, his anger seemed to have needed a sort of outlet that didnât involve maiming, and was released upon on a pen instead, luckily.Â
Sighing deeply, with no longer the once everlasting smile on her face, she unlaced her fingers, placed one arm flat onto the table and had its opposite open a draw on the side of her desk, reach into it and bring out a stress blue ball still in its wrap packaging and slid it toward the male opposite her desk âItâs a stress ball, I had a few ordered for my class and I was saving them for my students to take however you can have that oneâ she thought it would be beneficial to the both of them, heâd be able to release little bits of frustration onto the ball and not break anything, as she worried what would be his next target for release âThereâs also a few key ring versions I can give you if youâd like, Nidaime-samaâÂ
It was only then she began to answer all his questions, one by one; even those he probably thought irrelevant
"How are you finding the Academy?"
âI arrived only a short time ago but nonetheless the experience has been quite positive on the most partâ there was no point in lying, this man had held the title of âHokageâ and not only that, this man seem to despise those with the name âUchihaâ. Sheâd rather him scoff at her rather than give him excuse to distrust her further.
"Have you had much time to catch up with your sons?"Â
âI actually came on my eldestâs birthday. I have yet to speak to my youngestâ she didnât want to reveal any weakness. Though it was obvious that any motherâs weakness would be their children, even so she wanted to stay strong. While her voice monotonous her eyes casted downward reflected her sorrow.Â
"Would you like to know more about them?"
She only sighed as a reply for this question, as it was put through before she could answer yes or no. She could only listen on as he spoke about her sons; his harsh bantering made her heart sink as he listed all their doings.
When he finally finished and allowed her to speak, a small sad smile came upon her lips just before she opened her mouth to speak and her eyes showed the love and sorrow of a mother as they look directly toward Tobirama âItachi is a gentle child, witnessing war at a young age has caused him to be so. Toward the happenings of my clan, I can only direct you to your successor. What youâve told me I already know for the majority. My eldest had already spoken to me.â Anything Itachi ever did always had what would be thought of a morally correct reason and she supported his decisions, she trusted him enough to willingly give her life even if she were a mother who would give anything for her children.
âDo they take after their father or their mother, do you think?â
âThat, Iâm afraid I cannot answer. Since I never really got the chance the raise them. I had passed when Sasuke was very young, which meant after that, it was up to the village to care for him as all his family had disappearedâ her voice was now monotonous there was not much to it. Her being just finally became sick of the insults toward herself and her family. Playing pin the blame was surely no remedy for the bitterness she was receiving but it was an instinct that just slipped through.
âAre you content with your interrogation so far, Nidaime-sama?â
Reluctantly, he took the stress ball, and gave her the benefit of the doubt-- that she was doing him a favour, and didn't mean it as an affront. If what he suspected was true, she was one of the fundamental kunoichi to pin the blame on. Both her and Fugaku, as heads of the clan at the time of extermination. Ignoring her suggestion at key-ring alternatives, he showed her he was squeezing the stupid thing. It did nothing for his anger, though-- if there was any chance that she were involved, however directly or indirectly, in all those deaths..
Listening to her answers, the first few tedious pleasantries, he continued to work at the ball. For a simpleton, perhaps it might be enough to alleviate some pent up emotion. It was not so for Tobirama.Â
âAre you content with your interrogation so far, Nidaime-sama?â
"Not in the slightest," he scoffed, placing the ball on the desk again and resting his palms on it's surface. "If Itachi is as gentle as you claim him to be, it would seem uncharacteristic that he murder so many clan members," he reasoned, drumming fingers on the desk. "You said that you spoke with him, too. In that case, I expect you don't harbor a grudge against him. His reasons mustn't have been as trivial as the ANBU and Itachi himself claimed to be. You haven't spoken to Sasuke, though, which would suggest that he truly is a rotten product of a miserable time." A moment of silence as he collected his thoughts, preparing for the next wave.
"Uchiha Shisui informed me that the Uchiha were planning a coup de'tat, and that he informed his commander of this-- Shimura Danzo." He allowed the words to sink in, watching the other carefully. "Danzo didn't act on the information, though, which confused me at first. Why not try and stop the plans of idiots dooming the entire village."
He rose from his chair, so that he towered over the Uchiha. "Unless there were plans already in motion. An agent, of sorts, who valued the village over any one clans selfish desires." To think that Tobirama would speak this highly of an Uchiha, in order to demean another Uchiha... he'd not have thought it possible so many years ago, while Madara still lived. "Now, there are many ways that this agent might quell a rebellion, but if I know Danzo well enough, he'd order complete eradication. Absolute justice. I may not agree with such an ideal, but if he could find an agent who valued peace highly enough.."
Taking out a sheathed sword, he withdrew the blade and placed it bare on the table-- a declaration of intention, back when blood flowed freely. "Let this be a warning to you and your kin-- whatever gift of rebirth we've been given, I'll make sure you regret it before long if you ever plan harm to come to Konoha, or even Iwakiri." For good measure, he knocked the stress ball away, too.
"You should be ashamed of yourself."

soggyleaf said: He surveyed the room for a few moments.. not entirely impressed by itâs state. âAre you sure we are safe here? What of your roommate?â
"No need to worry, Nidaime-sama. That issue took care of itself a couple of months ago. We wonât be disturbed here any longer."
And not a moment too soon, it was almost like a dream to able to wake up without the ogre he called a roommate fawning over him in his apparent sleep. Heâd seen some hideous people in his time, but Charlotte was an entirely new level. He still had nightmares about whatever that âresurrection â thing that heâd shown him was.
On that note, the matter was dropped. If the hermit was living alone, all the better-- it wasn't for Tobirama to pry and question what the other had truly meant.. and if his roommate was in good health.
"In regards to my motives for the evening.. I assure you, the facade I went along with was not for the reasons my brothers flaunted. Truly, we were hoping to lure out the Akatsuki and any of their allies, while their guard was lowered. To such ends.. Hashirama concocted the dance."

Spare A Minute (@Tobirama)
The Uzumaki was taken back a bit, with the first response that she got from Tobirama. Of course, she was speaking out of hand, though it couldnât be helped if it was so urgent to her. It might have not meant something for the Second Hokage, though something serious for her and her family. She bit her lip before letting herself speak again, the redhead didnât want to say something disrespectful, though he was asking for it.Â
"I donât want to be disrespectful, Tobirama-sama. It wouldnât be right, if I did such a thing to you. And I wouldnât want you to think that my family is the same." But, seeing that Naruto is like herself, she didnât think that keeping him out of trouble would be so easy. Though, they were pranksters by heart, so she couldnât prevent such a thing. âOnly, the punishment that would follow afterwards. Her blue hues widen after hearing Mitoâs plan about reasoning with the Nine-Tails, that was a horrible choice for her. There was no reasoning with him, the only thing inside of him was pure hate for everyone.Â
"I donât think thatâs the best idea, no, that isnât the best idea; Reasoning with him wouldnât work. I know that for a fact, thereâs no way that he could reason with people that have used him for power. Though, Tobirama-sama, please do me the favor of sealing him inside of me. I donât want Mito-sama to bear the burden, neither my son. I didnât fulfill my purpose last time, because of the Masked Man. But this time, Iâm determined not to fail any of you." Â
That's right, this woman was the mother of the young man Hashirama had declared a vendetta against. An Uzumaki, too.. it was only natural she'd be headstrong. Especially on matters involving family. And the Kyuubi. She was quite alike Mito, although not yet hardened by time and war. She had seen her share of it, no doubt, but it was obvious their work with Konoha had at least improved the future a little.
"You-Â You agree with me?" he said dumbly. It was unbecoming of him to display so much doubt, but when there were so many supposedly intelligent individuals questioning him at every turn, he had to wonder if he was the one in the wrong. One voice crying nay was enough to set him back on the right path. "I agree with you, Kushina-san. The beast can only bring pain, and destruction to Iwakiri--"
"Though, Tobirama-sama, please do me the favor of sealing him inside of me."
He listened, deathly quiet. Such an offer did not come lightly, nor was he sure it would come again. She spoke the truth that others might prefer to deny, and she would not die in the act. Avenging her husband and her own sacrifice, protecting her son and upholding the will from her predecessor all in one swoop. Was this the wildcard he had been waiting for? "My skill in sealing techniques might not be enough," he admitted slowly. "And I have promised to see this foolishness through to the end. If it fails.. how soon can you be ready to once again cage the monster?"
"Thatâs right, the people in the Hidden Leaf are my family. But, itâs been such a long time since Iâve you all together. It reminds me of how we use to be all together. I think you should have a better memory than me, Oji-sama." Tsunade recalled the memories she had. It was always exciting to have them visit her, though Tobirama rarely came along with Hashirama. But, she couldnât really blame him for trying to make Konoha a better place for everyone. "I want to tell you everything thing that has happened, though itâll be saved for later, alright? I think youâve met Jiraiya, or youâre the one that suggested for him to be my partner. Despite, heâs someone you can rely on. Heâs a womanizer, from the day I first met him. So, if he tries to set you up on dates, donât trust him when it comes with women. Heâs horrible when it comes to that."Â
Complicates things? What kind of things would complicate the situation between them, maybe because he wasnât the adventurous type. âWhat does being a Shinigami have to do with trusting her? Iâve never had an issue with trusting Unohana-san, maybe itâs because of her title of a Shinigami that prevents you from trusting her?â
He couldn't, in good conscience, rob her of this feeling. Selfishly enough, as disgusting an act returning the dead was, the fact that he was allowed this time to see his brother, sister and grandniece.. Whatever task he still needed to complete, he could at least be thankful for this. "I expect a detailed report," he ordered sternly, eyes hardening. "There's not to be a detail missing, understood? First crush, first kiss, first date, first technique mastered-- we'll cover everything." He smiled, a rare treat for all the birthdays he had missed. "But not now."
The matter was still being pushed, then? "There is a technique known to only a few, labelled as kinjutsu due to the effects it has on the user. I witnessed such a technique take the souls of Hashirama, Hiruzen and myself, to be sealed within the stomach of a Shinigami. I can not say I am too comfortable with that idea."
