Happy Sunday everyone! 

This week has been hectic!! Between work, school and of course primping and pampering myself for COLLEGE FASHION WEEK that I attended last night! Not only was the event total GLAM-filled but it was FUN, FASHIONABLE and FREAKIN WORTH IT! (I'm over-doing it with the CAPS right?) The event rocked out at Santos Party House where college girls represented their colleges for #collegefashionweek

Sponors such as bare minerals, boohoo fashion and Tresemme and so many more glamped us up for the fun-filled night of fashion, good music, performaces and of course the Ah-mazing show!

I’ve gone from not drinking coffee to sipping blended coffee drinks, to brewing small amounts and finishing them, to brewing a pot and drinking it, to blearily spooning instant coffee into my wake-the-fu-cup, and vigorously stirring my way to consciousness all the while lamenting that a Keurig would taste mildly better, but take too damn long.  Addiction is real. Happy Tuesday everyone!

I hope everyone is fasting in preparation for Thanksgiving this Thursday because I sure am! Ok I’m lying LOL but I am ready to stuff my face with some turkey and stuffing. I’m thankful for a lot of things like my family, my job, good health…and Im definitely thankful for running into celebrity couple KIMYE aka Kanye West and Kim Kardashian just a block away from my job this afternoon. The power couple emerged from a black car/truck looking vehicle looking fabulous as they strutted towards Kanye’s Soho apartment. And I must say I was excited and ready to pounce on them (I’M KIDDING) but i was indeed starstruck. But of course whatever level of shock I was in I managed to snap a not so good quality photo of THEM!! #Winning!!! I’ll do better next time but until next time please enjoy.

Ok I’m not sure if it was 6 months ago or a year ago that I met the beautiful & talented Persia White! For those of you who don’t recognize her I’ll refresh your memory….Remember the hilarious go-to girl show “Girlfriends”that everyone was addict too!! The show aired from 2000-2008 And Ms.Persia was one of the Girlfriends aka Lynn Searcy. Not only was Lynn my favorite character but who didn’t adore the crazy, free-spirited wild child of the show! I know I did. But of course Ms. White was anything but wild, instead she was kind, humble and soft-spoken. It was such a great experience to meet this beautiful woman!

OH MY JADE!!!

I've worked in the heart of Soho for a year and about 8 crazy months. I've learned a lot about my job as a barista at Starbucks. You meet great people, you bond with your daily customers, you get annoyed by tourists, then fall in love with their innocence and accents, but the icing on the cake is being STARSTRUCK!! 

Introducing ELIZABETH GILLIES AKA Jade from the late popular Nickelodeon TV show Victorious. It's such a shame this show was cancelled because I loved it!! The dancing, singing, Victoria vs. Jade throw downs and of course the duets!! OH MY! 

Ms. Elizabeth Gillies was sweet as ever as she strutted into my Starbucks with a big smile & great hat!! She was one of the first of many celebrities I would meet at my cozy corner coffee shop. 

P.S. As I shamelessly asked for a quick pic with the leggy brunette she offered to take the picture because and I quote her very words that I am "Vertically challenged" (I won't lie, my attempt at taking the pic was so bad!! and she's so tall!)  LOL I couldn't have asked for a nicer insult!!!

I think the first step to creating a successful blog is...

1. Honesty; I think my readers would appreciate the truth.

2. Commitment; Who wants to read a blog where the writer sporadically posts....Not me!!

3. FUN; Spongebob once said F is for friends who do stuff together, U is for you & me and N is for anywhere, anytime at down in the deep blue sea. I'm anything but boring so I want my audience to read something entertaining and FUN!
