“Si~ Is that not the term one would use toward one they are enamored with?” She asked, still smiling as she tilted her head curiously. “If you do no like it I am sure I can come up with something else.” She conceded, whilst continuing to watch the woman fondly.
Oh she didn’t freaking miss the fondness that was present, but she was sure as hell confused. What the hell was even going on anymore? Too many questions not enough answers it seems. Still like she’d thought earlier she’ll give the other credit for having the gull to be direct.
❛ How the fuck can you feel enamored with me, when we don’t even know each other that well?. ❜
“I can understand your incredulity, Señora. But truly, do you not know how beautiful you are? Or more importantly, how marvelous I would find you? Consider to yourself: surely you must know what I adore most?” She ventured, a gentle and patient look on her face. That was no secret. Passion. Vigor. Determination to one’s purpose and cause. It was a fascination and indeed a love that she had in association to humans.
“Do you not see that such a thing, you have in abundance, yes? More than most. Is this not enough to be a bit enamored?” She asked, truly curious. She was in no rush, no feverish frenzy to pounce upon the french woman. No, the love of a God was something to be cautious of. Jalter had every right and reason to be suspicious. And so, she would gladly be patient with them.
