Trying to be reasonable and not be upset with my friend but I am aware my upset is valid. Kind of don’t want to talk to him for a bit.

Update: I sent him a message letting him know the whole thing made me feel. Didn’t get an apology, in fact he read it and didn’t respond at all. Friendship breakups suck but this has only proven to me that it’s for the best. Turns out I really was a disposable friend to him.

Dad texted my sister this morning. I am visit g home and did not let him know I was here since we don’t talk really anymore. Small community so obviously he found out.

The thing is he didn’t text me with this gripe. He texted her as if it were her fault.

Also I am her brother. I have been transitioned and put for over 14 years. This is part of the reason why we don’t speak. I will not continue to hold onto a relationship that actively hurts me with a parent who clearly does not respect me.

I’ve made sure my sister knows it is not her fault at all.

I feel like it may be time for me to finally write everything out and mail it to him or email it but I’ll consult with my therapist on it.

The other night husband and I were watching a documentary about the yeti where they were doing DNA analysis of samples of supposed yeti fur, and every one of them came back as bears.

Anyway, the next night we watched a thing about some pig man who is supposed to live in Vermont. People said it had claws and a pig nose but walked upright like a man. Now, I happen to know that sideshows used to shave bears and present them as pig men. So every piece of evidence they gave of this monster sounds to me like a bear with mange.

So now the running joke in our house is that everything is bears. Aliens? Bears. Loch Ness monster? Bear. Every cryptozoological mystery is just a very crafty bear.

Bears. They’re everywhere. Be wary. Anyone or anything could be a bear.
