lets meep and have fuck ass bangs with mama
one of their best looks if i may say so myself
iām forever haunted by shawn hatosy saying jack doesnāt like being aloneā¦
the guy who was widowed doesnāt like being aloneā¦the guy whoās best friend was gonna leave him for three months (and maybe forever) doesnāt like being aloneā¦the guy who listens to a police scanner while falling asleep doesnāt like being aloneā¦
jack abbot is such a tragic character.
people love the idea of the mean girl nurse pipeline because it problematises medical abuse as a personal perversion rather than understanding it as a product of broadly held ableist values and its like, if this was only about ontologically evil teenage girls choosing to enter a profession because of their unique sadism then you really wouldnt expect to see the exact same forms of abuse pervading all arrangements of paid, unpaid, formal, ad hoc, and familial caretaking as well -- its more comforting to believe the nurse was just a preexisting bad person than that most of the world broadly hates disabled people and will abuse, neglect, and gaslight them if given power over their care
Theyāll do it to abled people too. Just the suggestion that you might be disabled (even if youāre not) gives them a free pass to be assholes

mel king being different in season three but not NOTICEABLY just she is leading more traumas, walks confident, isnāt hiding in the background, but not taking anyones shit, and certainly not robbyās, this is the effect of trinity santos and frank langdon being her best friends!! mel wearing a different hairstyle, cursing sometimes, like she is growing into herself!!!
I absolutely need a Kingdon scene that involves Mel unexpectedly driving Langdon home from work one day and when they get into the car and her phone connects suddenly WAP by Megan thee Stallion blasts through the speakers at max volume as Mel desperately scrambles to turn it off and then just stares blankly ahead clutching the steering wheel and blushing furiously as Langdon turns towards her and his expression turns from shock to curiosity to absolute delight in the span of 2 seconds.
Iām not Christian, I donāt go to church anymore, and my pastor died, but when he was alive Iād sometimes go to his sermons and I remember one time he said āit feels good to hate, but we know that it isnāt allowed, so when weāre told that weāre allowed to hate someone we get so excited that we forget weāre supposed to loveā, and if my humble atheist ass might borrow some church talk Iād like to perhaps submit that
ok note to self i gotta leave the house regularly so that i dont feel like im slowly transforming into an evil fucking shadow clone of myself
So as it turns out your sense of self doesnt exist in a vacuum. You gotta actually use it and bounce it off of other people like echolocation to see where you are as a person and shit. So if you dont regularly interact with other people the echoes just get weaker and weaker and before you know it your personality is a blurry fucked up fog clone of its former self. which it sucks because this makes it really hard to interact with people again but yknow
it is unfortunate that there's no reason for most people to remember high school chemistry because the best analogy I have found for "the amount of energy that it takes me to initiate a task, which can be higher than the amount of energy it takes to actually complete the task" is "activation energy" and it's not precisely perfect but
yeah. and you can even include "thing that reduces the barrier to doing the task" as a catalyst/enzyme
anyway. unfortunately this does not actually clarify anything for the average person. but #ToMe it works
realistically there is no chance i will have time to read, imma still bring a book though
Yoyo fondly refers to Frank as her āwifeyā while he lives with her post-divorce because he cooks and cleans for her and packs her lunches.
She jokes about wanting her spare room back, but she hugs him real tight the day he moves out.
also LOVED Ellis pulling Mel aside to reassure her in a way that didn't cause excess stress. Mel has anxiously mentioned "not being able to talk about it" multiple times this season to multiple different people and Ellis went "okay well we're not talking about it you're listening to me monologue" just to make sure she was offering her reassurance that would affirm her own belief in Mel AND the fact that she and Mel did nothing wrong. that they did that spinal tap perfectly and the aftermath had nothing to do with the tap. god I love Dr. Parker Ellis
mel is louddd when she and parker have sex. whimpers and hums and moans spilling constantly from her parted mouth as she rides parker's strap, thighs twitching as it fills her over and over, cheeks flushed pink.
parker just blinking up adoringly at her and murmuring quiet praises of good, good girl, just like that... make yourself feel so good, baby, theeere you go... and grinning when mel's pace starts to falter, gripping onto her girl's hips and driving up into her soaking cunt to punch even cuter little whines out of her <333
