i wish i could travel back in time to see my miserable 14 year old self. i want to tell them that it all turns out okay – that i'm grown up and thriving and starting a phd in a field i'd never heard of at that age. that i learned how to live on my own terms and that i'm so much happier for it.

This week was almost a total loss. I had a migraine that lasted two days and now I have an ear infection that feels awful. I am so frustrated with myself, but I'm more frustrated with my code.

Day 1082 of the PhD

As I’ve entered my final year of the PhD, I am overwhelmed by the amount of reading and writing that I still have to do. Feels like my life is just this but I can feel the end! I am getting closer to getting everyone to call me Dr.

I sense coffees, location changes and stress on the horizon for the foreseeable future! But honestly… wouldn’t have it any other way.
