And here is the timelapse from Procreate (crappy background music by me).
Long time no see Tumblr.
For my birthday, I got from my girlfriend an iPad pro 9.7 and an Apple Pencil. I was blown away by the accuracy, pressure and tilt of the pencil and bought what seems to be the more complete art app : @procreateapp and voilà my first drawing with Procreate.
Nothing too fancy, just something to get the feel of the whole shebang.
The Wood’s Prophet.
Ink on paper and a tiny bit of digital correction.
I’m planning on doing a colored version. Up as soon as it’s done.
Is it Aries? Cursed eye, stem cells, aries, black candle??? Your fanart is so nice and eerie, I love it.
Right on! Congrats!
Thanks a lot for your kind words Anon!
Sorry if this has been asked before, but what programs do you use for the digital illustration? The newest Krampus' Head drawing in particular. And brushes, if you use customs. Thank you.
No worries Anon, you're the first one to ask.
But let me tell you this first: the software and brushes doesn't matter. What matters is that you find the right tools for YOU. I'm sure you already red that kind of stuff and don't care that much for that advice, but I made progress the day I stopped caring about the tools.
Anyway, for the Head of Krampus piece I used Photoshop and all was done with a single brush from this set by Michalivan (the brush size 175 in the blue category "super good painting brushes"). Then I added some tiny dots (like a spray paint) as you can see on the candle on the high res of the piece with the brush "speckly brush" from this set by Loish.
I hope it helps!
Your Isaac Rebirth / Krampus art is fantastic - does he have Stem Cells, Brimstone, and the cursed eye? I can't figure out the fourth item. - anyway, I would love to see more Isaac artwork from you! I really love your interpretation!
Thank you a lot! Kind words are always the nicest things to read!
You're halfway there. Stem Cells and Cursed Eye are correct, but Brimstone isn't (not the right horns) and the fourth item is a shop item that, I think, synergies nicely with Cursed Eye.
Thanks again, and I will make more Isaac related artwork in the future!
Head of Krampus
The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth came out last month and I can't stop playing it. It's so good!
One of the new item is the head of Krampus and his icon is soooo cute! So I start painting it, then I added more, and more, and finally, it becomes a full fledged fan art.
Can you guess the items Isaac got on the picture? There is 4. 5 if you include the head of Krampus.

I've made a digital painting out of my 31st Inktober for practice sake.
I think this is the first character digital painting that I finish! I've made plenty of digitally painted background for my shorts back when I was in animation school and also some traditionnal painting, but weirdly enough, I've never finished a fully colored character digital painting.
And it was something like 5 years since my last digital painting. So, time to start practicing again!
I've made a colored version of my 4th Inktober. I red Mignola's Hellboy before I drew this one, and I think we can clearly feel the inspiration. Mignola is such a genius. I wish I could steal a bit of his skills!
Inktober Day 31
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
And to close up on this Inktober, a classic ol’ zombie for Halloween.
I DID IT! 31 days, 31 drawings! Damn. What a challenge!
Some good stuff, some bad stuff, some really good stuff, some really bad stuff, but a lot learned!
A tons of likes, reblogs and new subscribers! Thank you all, it really warms me up, you’re wonderful people!
Inktober Day 30
Yeah, so, Halloween is really close, and you will see a lot of kids dressed up as monsters. But if you see a normal kid, it's probably a monster dressed up as a human!
In a few words: If you see a normal kid on Halloween, punch him to death and run for yo lives!
I'm kidding. Don't do that... If you see a normal kid on Halloween, it's probably because his parents doesn't wanted to buy him a costume...
Not a really good drawing, it doesn't read well, but, meh, I've drawn a lot lately!
Inktober Day 29
SpoooOOooooky Ghost!
We're closing up on Halloween! And here is a spooky ghost for yoOOoou!
TOO SPOOKY!
Inktober Day 28
The Onion Kid.
Feeling a bit tired and under the weather, so a simple, quick, Inktober.
Inktober Day 27
Frankenstein's Monster.
When I was a kid, I used to draw a lot of Frankenstein's Monster. But not anymore. So I decided to give it a try again.
I didn't want to draw the "usual" Frankenstein's Monster (Boris Karloff's one). I wanted something less realistic, more cartoonish and ugly/creepy, with mixed body parts from around the world (hard to really portray on greyscale). And, as you can see, my light grey pen is really dying. I need a new one...
Inktober Day 26
I'M DRACULA BITCH!
I found that Tyler's music fits the cold times and early nights. So Autumn (and Winter, and Spring) is the season when I listen the most to this genre, and Goblin in particular.
And what track is on Goblin? Transylvania! In a way, it fits Inktober/October and the forthcoming of Halloween. Kinda...
Inktober Day 25
The Kid and the Burger.
This is my way of reminding you that we are lucky our mouth is perfectly shaped to eat a burger. This poor kid doesn't have this luck and he got his burger ruined by gravity.
Goddamn you vertical mouth!
Inktober Day 24
The Old Skeleton King.
This one misses a few shadows and shades, but I was worried I'll screw him up.
As usual, I'll be back on Monday with 3 Inktobers and maybe there will be some sneak peaks on Instagram.
Have a nice weekend folks!
