Whatever Ben was about to say, it was wholly incorrect. He’d lost years of his life. Rey gave him a patient, reassuring smile after wiping the obvious shock off her face. “Take your time,” she said softly. The smile he gave her back was sweet—tentative, just like everything else he did.
